Green Day – She Lyrics | 19 years ago |
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRGAAAAHHHHHHH!!! .....yep, that pretty much sums it up. to fill space, why is it that this song contains so much emo content in contrast to other green day songs? is it not amazing thevariance in style? LLONGHORN22 |
The Beta Band – Dry the Rain Lyrics | 19 years ago |
i am finding a parallel between trainspotting and dry the rain. perhaps the mood? perhaps the haze that seems to be present in the tone of the song and the movie? or maybe scottish people are just too damn clonable (it's a joke, it's a joke). anyway, the dude that said he puts it on every mix tape, he stole that from me. really. he did. i thought it first. beleive it |
The Postal Service – Such Great Heights Lyrics | 19 years ago |
i find it amusing that a song can be so accessible by so many people, both male and female (well, online who the hell knows). gives me hope for the world. *cough*corny alert*cough*. but seriously, both versions are amazing for their emotional content |
Dishwalla – Counting Blue Cars Lyrics | 19 years ago |
"And the child dieing sounds like a good thought." ....i'll be over here roflmaoing for a good five minutes. okay i'm back. "When you think about it it would make more sense for God to be female because females create life by giving birth." ....ascribing human traits to a being that ascribed godlike traits to humans? (created in his image). So...... depending on how you take this, literally, metaphorically, or somwewhere between the two, okay, i can see the homeless theory taking shape. but from a purely literal sense. your argument carries a strong weight. thots : 1. if it's god they are speaking of, then a sunday afternoon speaking of god, between the pastor and the young child, is aceptable. people can still be found out and about on weekends in the afternoon. II. the color blue is sometimes associated with the past, because the color shift in light runs to blue when the object moves away from the eye. (unrelated) C. for some reason, i am reminded of the sixth sense (in a song about spiritually? shock, horror) i am given to wonder if the narrator actually has a corporeal existence. four. can the stained clothes and cross eyed-people be a metaphor for the spiritual journey that leaves people travel-stained, moving through a world of people that have obscured themselves to a truth, or even a search for truth (cross eyed, distorted vision, light as a simily of truth) 51v3. does this journey down the street actually take place in the real world? is this the journey that takes place after life, with two kindred spirits journeying towards their god? let the flaming begin |
Metric – IOU Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Bowling for Soup – Girl All The Bad Guys Want Lyrics | 19 years ago |
(am i the only one that thinks that words on the internet feel paler than words in life?) |
Bowling for Soup – Girl All The Bad Guys Want Lyrics | 19 years ago |
this is the loser fanboy song from hell. trust, me i know, because i am one *sob, beautiful, unnatainable girls!*. but anyway, some thoughts: for every song, it's quality/meaning/significance is really what you take away from it. i would like to thank the people who have posted negative thoughts, because of the contrast this shows between the empathetic and apathetic (in regards to this song). oh, btw...cheers, love the song |
