Tscul is right. Greenday really aren't punk at all, I reckon they're a bit gay and I've never liked them, but Avril didn't do this song justice at all. A bit like any other song she sings. Even if they're supposedly her own and written by herself. |

How come The Bronx have got like no comments at all and then well gay 'punk' bands like Blink 18gay or Sum 41 get well loads of comments saying about how 'punk' they are /:|

P.S. This song is obviously about someone trying to forget about someone they've loved but they can't, seeking advice from either the one who broke their heart or someone else. Could also be connected to drugs since someone in the band was well a druggy :$ |

My God at Avril.
Why does she steal other peoples songs and then completely SLAUGHTER them? I'm not a fan of Greenday but I have heard the song and it was good, then I heard this and it was a complete joke.
Do yourself a favour Avril and quit before the music industry quits you, and all the bands you steal from and ruin their songs do as well. |

This song like every other Avril Lavigne song probably means nothing to her or has any personal effect on her. It's just as gut-wrenching as Sk8er Boi /:| The lyrics are too predictable, there is rhyme after rhyme. This is just another mainstream pop song and she is just another mainstream and common half-a-decade artist. |

This song is well good. d:)b
I reckon that this song is sort of being ironic towards the womens point of view towards boyfriends: the fact that the men are always wanting sex while the woman only wants affection. The song over writes this and switches it around, hopefully allowing people to understand that men can feel just as affectionate as women can. |

I agree with Rocket Science.
The song is obviously some sort of joke to lyrics from emo/screamo bands which lyrics are always signifying hurt with girlfriends, etc. The lyrics seem to have an ironic tone.
It's still a well good song though :) |
