I'm not a big fan of rap music in general. But, this is the only song of rap, let alone M&M, that I like. Yeah I said M&M because that's what his name is without the stupid ass special spelling. Oh I do think the FCC should get off M&M's ass but look what happened to other guys like Ice-T who also got in trouble for defying authority. Hell, even ACTUAL rock stars like Marilyn Manson who got in legal controversies. Manson actually got charged for both defying religion and authority. But MTV still let "The Fight Song", "Disposable Teens", and "Man That You Fear" on the air even though the FCC ordered them not to. So if you guys are wondering, "What the fuck does this have to do with M&M?" Just realize the world has seen worse. |

I can actually relate to this song. I've tried to get this girl to like me (even though she was taken off the list by an undevoted boyfriend). When Aaron says the second verse, that one got me. I don't think any other power ballad like this one would ever have an impact on me. I know that Aaron sings about seeing the real person. That's exactly what I want to do. I want to see the real person that this girl is and show her that I miss her. Well, thanks for reading my hopeless romancer message. Cya! |
