Well, I don't know any German, but I am Russian so I can help out with that- the "Pioneers are going there" lyric looks really funny in it's English translation- first of all, they are saying pioneers walk around there singing songs of Lenin and it doesn't make much sense if you don't know what pioneers are referring too. Pioneers was kind of like Russian boy and girl scouts except it was mandatory for all children to join, and it was a way of getting communist propaganda into their heads from an early age. As for "raz, dva, tree," when counting off, you would say "raz" instead of "adin" for one. |

I also read somewhere that this could be a play on words, since "mann gay gun mann" (sorry if i butchered the spelling) means "man gay for man." |

everything he did, he did it while he was drunk..fighting, smoking, having sex. he didn't feel comfortable with his own self so he needed to alter his state of mind with alcohol...umm along with some other stuff. alcohol is his baby. this was originally a tad song but kurt changed it around to describe his own experience. |

this song is so awesome to rock out to...i love stuff liek this when anthony just goes off on a tangent and raps. i saw them in concert a lil over a month ago and i just started flipping out when they played "can't stop." not that i wasn't losing my mind the whole time! i think it's about battling with his past, and the drug addictions and going back to the place where he used to get high. he doesn't want to be like his father, who did drugs and slept with a bunch of differnet women and got anthony into that as well. most likely there is a girl...a perfect piece of dna...who can pull anthony away from it all. whatever the case may be, this was and still is my fave song on btw |

this is my freakin favorite song ever...its just so beautiful and evokes so many emotions in me- a whole "rollercoaster." i get hynotized by the video too; i downloaded it and watch it over and over and over...and yeah u guyz get the point lol.
one more thing- i know lots of songs are written about drugs/battling drug addictions but i'm sick of going to EVERY song meaning and reading that its about drugs. Not every song ever made is about drugs! |
