| to me this song is about being at a place in your life where you're totally alone, and everything seems hopeless. it's basically about everything going through this guy's mind who's ready to kill himself. it's a great song, extremely sad and alienated, but great. the lyrics are genius and have all the mental images a song could plossibly convey. this is definitely my favorite JTB song, it has meant so much to me... as i'm sure it does to everyone who hears it and falls under it's spell. | |

| this is one of my favorite taking back sunday songs, and i agree with many of you when you say this song sounds a lot like saves the day. i think a lot of taking back sunday's stuff is similiar to saves the day, but that's all cool cos i love both bands. anyways. so basically i think this is a song about a someone's friend who is so desperate and so hurting that they have constantly been turning to drugs and it doesn't do them any good, and the friend's are sick of it "we wont stand for hazy eyes anymore".... they want their friend off the drugs, and their addiction is affecting the friends just as much as the person. that's how i interpret the song anyways. great band, amazing song. | |

| first of all he's not bi. it's just that he admires everything this seemingly beautiful and popular guy has. the friends, the acceptance, etc. he's envious of the life this other guy has "it's hard to look in the mirror these days when everyone has everything you'd rather be..." all of us at some point look at another person and wish we had the looks, money, etc. that they have. it's just part of human nature to never settle and really be happy with what we have, we always think we'd be happier in a different situation. so that's what i think this song is about. btw, this is one of my favorite saves the day songs, regardless of it's short 1 minute length, it still kicks butt! | |

| I would probably be willing to say this is my favorite Good Charlotte song, it's just amazing. Probably one of my favorites lyrically and musically. Plus it just has that connection with me that makes a song great. I'm also one of those people who spend my days in my bed trying to dround myself in my music cos it helps me from being so depressed with my life. It's funny, people are always telling you to be happy, they don't understand that you don't think being fucked up is the best thing in the world. You end up acting all happy and smiling and goofing off like life is the shit, but you're as miserable as you could imagine. This song is just about someone who's confused, in pain, and sick of hearing comments about it from people who have no clue and who totally misread things. Nice to know I'm not the only crazy freak in this place. (Not that you all are crazy freaks, haha....) | |

I'm breaking, I'm falling, My dreams are colliding with reality." that right there makes me fall in love with this song. i totally feel what it's talking about right there. the song is really meaningful, or i think so anyways. a birthday is normally seen as a time to celebrate, but in this case it was just another magnification of the hell this guy was going through in his life. i think everyone has moments in their life like that. where you should be happy, everyone thinks you are and have no reason not to be, but for some reason it's the worst time of your life. i dunno, but that's what i get out of this song. i kinda wish more people knew about it and the band, i'm the only one i know of that knows of them. it's sad that some of the best bands never get appreciated like they should. i guess that's part of art, pouring your heart out regardless of whether or not you ever make and impact on the world.... but all i can say is after hearing this song "things wont be the way they were". | |

| "i'm slipping in between you and your big dreams, it's always you in my big dreams...." i think that right there can in a sense sum up what "Konstantine" if really about. andrew was in love with his girlfriend krystal, but they kept having problems, and the year long relationship never worked out. the song is about their relationship and what they went through with all the fighting. he loved her, but he just didn't mean enough to her for it to work out........ i dunno, even though "Konstantine" is a song about love, it hits me on so many levels.... different lines mean different things to me completely, and it always morphs to take on a new meaning with my changing moods. i want to cry every time i hear the lines "the first star you see may not be a star, i'm not your star, isn't that what you said? what you thought this song meant?" i've been with my boyfriend a year now, and he's totally my star.... to hear those lines and to think of andrew being so in love with a girl, and her being his star, but she not caring about him at all is so sad.... funny thing is... my boyfriend's name is andrew, and he has a unique last name that starts with an "m" as well... it's funny in a way. i just hope our relationship never fits "Konstantine"..... except when i find myself quoting "did you know i miss you, did you know i miss you, god i miss you" in emails and such.... because it's long distance, i dont see him as much as i'd like. sometimes i feel like "Konstantine" was written about me... my life, it fits me so well....... since the first time i heard it it was forever a part of me, more than just my favorite song, almost an anthem to my life. it got me hooked on something corporate.... and merely because i saw a link to download the song and saw that it was 9:36, i was like damn, wonder if it's any good.... ha, sure was..... i'm hooked now... soco is forever my favorite band, i have every song of theirs i have ever came across, and none have shown themselves as a disappointment....... every song is lyrical genious and beautiful and touching in it's own sense. no song of theirs can be found to be without emotion, pure and raw, and unfiltered. andrew says what he feels, as well as josh when the pen and paper come his way. and the band takes their words and play them so well...... nothing other than praise could ever come from my lips when discussing something corporate, they have changed my life through their words and music.... more than i can say about most bands, or people for that matter. some day i hope to be able to thank them for all they've done..... in the mean time i spread the soco gospel, and hope that it is never unappreciated. something corporate rocks..... everyone check out their website, http://somethingcorporate.com and an amazing fan site that i got to for all my lyrics and downloads.... http://simplysoco.com ......
