I am from Israel, live next to Gaza Strip and all i thought about in this album is that: A man who loses hope like a Palestinian, and turns to terror. Hamas which governs in Gaza and has central influence in the west bank, uses terror and prevents a chance to peace, the Palestinians suffer the most from it. The man says "revere a million prayers.. but there's nothing there" it means some people turn to terror because they have hope- they believe in its radical ideas- "revere a million prayers", but our man does not- "but theres nothing there", he turns to terror like many others because he does not have hope, he lost it as the song continues, turns to terror because despair. Psycho- the man becomes terrorist, he is incited because he is vulnerable, easy to manipulate people who are lost, without hope and opportunities. eventually he becomes "cold and impassive machine", he was incited now he is inciting, now he is a drone that affects others. I find many similarities in this album about the mid-east, and I hope there will be peace, exactly as the album continues till aftermath.. this is the process the Palestinians must do, disconnect from the extremeness, from the path of war, from the radical drone-rulers. |

@[frostiron:15306] i dont know if pessimistic, but a wake up call for us, to be ourselves, to love what and who we want, to do what we want and choose our path. we have to accept the differences of each other, they complete us. there is a saying that one butterfly can create a hurricane with its wings in the other side of the planet, the good needs the bad in order we will appreciate it. I loved reading what U wrote. |
