Does no-one realise how well this fits with Sorry About The Doom by Slow Club? Not completely but very very very similar. Especially when Rebecca sings 'I agree you were right to say we're doomed/ 'cos there isn't a chance I'll get to be in your arms soon' I've heard they were together at some point? (Not 100% if it's true) But I'm not sure if it was around the time they wrote the songs. But the songs came out in the right chronological order, so I dunno |

Has anyone else noticed similar lyrics in songs from across the years of their back catalogue? In this, Rebecca mentions how she's perfect to be 'flipped' (I'm not sure if she is referencing sex or something innocent which I can't work out) In their newish song Not Mine To Love, Rebecca sings how she has a lover who 'flips her over' like her ex lover never would (once again this has inferences to sex?) And in Sorry About The Doom, she sings about hearts beating out of time and in this she also talks about hearts beating out of time Proper love Slow Club |
