So who is the "you"?
Well, the "you" can 'save' him. The "you" owns the sky. The "you" dreams dreams. The "you" brings the light. The "you" has figurative weight which falls on the writer.
The atheists among us may want to make this a song about a girl, but it's absolutely not a love song about some great chick. It's about the writer's creator and savior.
So if you must shape this art to fit your atheism, the writer is singing to the big bang, or the laws of physics, or the Sun, or Darwin or dear leader Obama or something. You decide.

It's that all too common "there's no right and wrong" and the arrogant belief that the creation can dictate to the creator how to judge the creation.
