Savoir Adore – Dreamers Lyrics 10 years ago
I absolutely love this song..it's difficult to understand without looking at the lyrics, but it's about being inside of a less-than-satisfying dreaming state. Everything within the alternate reality is falling apart, and the dreamer can only sit back and watch what is becoming of his/her creation.
Then, a voice of virtue presides and reassures the dreamer that he/she should have no worries. As the song ends, the dreamer comes to appreciate his/her volatile alternate-reality and even come to enjoy its destruction.

The meaning of this song can be applied to so many different situations, but I relate it most to my experience coming out as a teenager.

"Won’t you come
Here you know the way, it’s the one you made
Built it in the sky, all that’s in your eye now not the same"
"Can you stand watching it undo all that’s made of you?"

This "alternate-reality" I had built as a vision of the future for myself to satisfy societal norms was falling apart because I had begun to realize it was never going to happen. I began to feel like a failure, unable to salvage anything left of this vision that so much of my life has depended on.

"You are safe, watching it tumble down
Falling all around, around
Can you stand watching it undo
Fall instead of you"

Through all the self-doubt and confusion, I was able to come to the realization that it was OK for this dream to fall apart. It was even for the best, because if it hadn't gone away I would have been the one to lose control.

The Sounds – Rock 'n' Roll Lyrics 12 years ago
"Jump up bubble up, what's in store" is a lyric from the song Love is the Drug by Roxy.
I was listening to the radio and the Roxy song came on and I nearly had a conniption trying to figure out what song it was that I had heard that lyric in before.
