| Okay, to settle all arguments, this song was written about the lead singer, Robin Pecknold's brother. In an interview it was said that his brother and him were running through the woods with friends (the "pack"). His brother, Michael fell while running and hit his head off of a rock which killed kim :( The snow turning "Red as strawberries in the summer" is to be Michael bleeding out. So there ya' go. | |
