| The "Eager to please/Trying to be what they need/But I'm so very tired/I've stopped trying to find/Any peace in my mind/Because it tangles the wires." Makes me think of my own situation right now. I want to be with him but his parent's are being difficult for no reason. So I just keep "Trying to be what they need." even thought it doesn't seem to help and just wears on me. And the "I've stopped trying to find/Any peace in my mind/Because it tangles the wires." is like how I spend so much time trying to figure out how to fix things (create peace in my mind) but because all the troubles are based on his parent's unreasonable actions there's no real resolve, thinking about it just "Tangles the wires." but as long as he stay's close to me I'm sure we can make it through this rough patch... | |

I think this is about the same person as My Immortal, it makes sense when you think about the idea that My Immortal could be about her sister and this song also sounds like it could be about her sister.*shrug* Just a thought. Anyway this song gives me chills. The pure emotion in her voice is amazing...I'm slowly becomimg a bigger and bigger fan of Evanescence :) |

This song makes me think about my brother, expecialy "But I try not to think of what might happen When your reality, it finally cuts through." and "And all the best lies They are told with fingers tight So cross them tight Won't you promise me tonight If it's the last thing you do, you'll get out?" I wish he would just realize he is way to selfish for his own good. |
