I can see where you're coming from but the opening line "Yeah I get it you're an outcast" more broadcasts to me someone who is finding petty problems and making them out to be worse than they really are. Your interpretation makes sense to me although I think it has a narrower view, pointing more towards the attention seekers rather than those with actual problems to deal with. |

This is more a reply to laneybug, erm... yeah, fair enough with the whole interview thing, good for you for paying attetion and everything... however not everyone spends every second of their day searching for interviews with band members so we can get a real glimpse at a song's meaning. Maybe it's not what was intended as the meaning but if it's given to it by another then it is meaning none the less, whether originally intended or not. As for the 'Such an idiot!!' statement, it was slightly uncalled for. Just a tad. |

I think this song has 2, not entirely seperate, meanings. The first being the ending of a relationship, she doesn't feel the same anymore and despite his feelings he doesn't want to hold her back and just wants to see her happy and so is letting her go. The other I see in this is that he has died but isn't sad, but feels that his time was had come and he was at peace with the thought, but was rather telling the world and those who loved him not to worry about him as he would be ok. |

Personally when I listen to this song I think it's about letting the past go, or releasing people in the present so you can advance into the future without anything damaging to hold you back. |

If they were depressed they would feel like everything is wrong, it's not a feeling of hopelessness, it is a feeling that nothing is going right in your life regardless of what is around you. Just saying ;) |
