When I first heard the song I thought it was about a girl in a hospital bed, in a coma. Brain dead. "Playground schoolbell rings, again Rainclouds come to play, again" as she remembers a flash of her past. "Has no one told you she's not breathing ? " as she hears her close ones mourning by her side "If I smile and don't believe Soon I know I'll wake from this dream" as as she thinks that her lying in the bed is just a dream "Don't try to fix me I'm not broken " as she realizes that those around her think that she is no more "Hello, I'm the lie living for you so you can hide... Don't cry... " as she hears her family saying goodbye to her, before the doctors turn off her life support. "Suddenly I know I'm not sleeping Hello, I'm still here, all that's left Of yesterday.. " as she tries to open her eyes, tries to plead with those around her that she is still alive inside, before her life support is turned off. It always reminds me of Sophie Lancaster. Maybe it was the same thing for her? |
