I agree, even more so if you watch the youtube, it clearly shows a wolf turning into a women at the end. In that video there is an interesting aspect : you have humans chasing the wolf ( the wolf side of her) , but there is also a wolf in the background at a certain point. To me, it's the struggle between the 'inner wolf' and the human being, where the outside world dislikes her wolf side, but the person she's with loves the wolf. But ultimately, she is both. |

Also, there's a strong resemblance with 'Titanium' , which to me is also a struggle against the outside world. The feeling I get is : You are yourself, they way you should be : don't let the world dictate how/what you should be. |

The wheel breaks the butterfly : A butterfly is something beautifully , but very fragile. I think it symbolizes the naivety when we are young. This is broken by the process of life itself , but our desire to fly never goes away :-) I also think the lyrics are 'the sun must set to rise' , which means that in order to enjoy something beautiful , you must first face something hard. It's also about hope : the hope that better days will come. |

Personally , i think it's about truly going for something , truly believing in it , and continueing regardless of what others think or say , and that the 'progress' you make is more important than 'winning' 'Although no one understood we were holding back the flood, Learning how to dance the rain. Means to me : trying to learn something , not to be 'winners' , but just by improving yourself. Also , some lines are going about that you shouldn't care about the perception of others : 'We were holding back the flood they said we'd never dance again.' 'Tiny minds and eager hands will try to strike but now will end today.' |

To me , it's about the cozy place you can go to , to work on something interesting, without being disturbed or judged by anyone. I can really relate to it , because i do the same thing. This place really feels a home because, you feel great because you are working on something you always dreamed about . You also return to it when you feel down or hurt ( I do , anyway ) Because this place is so important , it should remain unseen , out of sight . Any project you are working on is for your eyes only , at least until it's finished. To me , there is not much sad about this song : it's about dreaming about creating something , and working to achieve this. It's beautiful. The downside of this , is that by focusing to much on it , you lose track of the people you love . This is shown in the video , where you see someone waiting to eat for him ,and eventually she eats alone because he's busy on his projects. |
