i dont remember when/where i heard it i think it was on the End Credits of some movie or maybe a theme song??? idk, but if any1 knows then tell me..
maybe it was on the radio. Idk but its stuck in my head now & i jus want 2 scream lke "OOOOOOOOOOOOMYYYYYYYYYYYYF-INNNNNNNNNNGAWDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!" xD

xD but yea. i think this song means tht-if ur going thru a tough break-up or an overall bad day- or ANYTHING depressing- all u can really do is Move Along & jus go abt ur life & remember all u have in ur life & all u can really do is jus be happy, coz how long is life-really??

most of the songs the doobie brothers wrote dont make sense. but since when do all songs have 2 make sense anyway?? this song is about the music & the words-not the meaning. if u really think about it & instead of finding the lyrics' meaning, & trying 2 make sense of it all, jus relax & let ur mind go blank & sing along if u can(: .alot of the doobie brothers write songs about love.many things can represent love.this song represent love thru trains (long trains *in motion* that is x] ). i ges what the message of this song-"without love where would we be now?" "we'd probly be stranded out on our own jus walking (like Miss Lucy) & not knowing where 2 go-since we don`t have love." ?. not shure.

yea i thought it was the most interesting line as well. & that thats the last line of the songg it makes us wonder.. i always thought it meant. Snow, being beautiful (possibly representing the relationship back then) turning into rain-tears and saddness (also going bac 2 the "emptiness" line lyke trying 2 reconnect and so on). but yea. i always thought snow=the beautiful relationship they used 2 hve. rain=tears/saddness.. |

this song never striked me as "husband.cheating.etc." i always thought it was about a girl whose looking back at her life and doesnt realy like what she sees. she feels like shes "walking on a wire".meaning shes on edge-she might fall(?). she "came home w/ a list of names//came home w/ a vengence".perhaps people who did her wrong-"its time for a few small repairs"-obviesly thats revenge talk..i also think (middle to last part of the song) was about her moving on-leaving a house she never meant 2 go back to(?)"shes out there on her own and shes alright"-maybe people are worryed about what will happen(?). "the world is burning down".i thought this part was about all the crime & bad in the world thats its practicly destroying it."i close my eyes & fly out of my mind-into the fire.."-ok i admit this part is confusing 2 me maybe the "i close my eyes" part means shes trying 2 4get."into the fire" & "strike a match go on & do it" r similar 2 me.. "strike a match go on & do it".meaning shes letting go//moving on or that she simply cant.do.this.anymore.-whatever "this" may be. "count the yrs you always knew it".she must have been planning to something for awhile now & that it should have been obvieous this was going to happen. sorry this was all jumbled 2gether. bottom-line, this was a great song.i like how its mysterious.if any of you disagree w/ my opinion.im sorry. im jus trying 2 make the song easier 2 understand.(: |

i.love.this.song :) ths song is amazingg i dont see how ANY1 could hate it. i think this song means he meets a girl and doesnt realy "see" it. & then 1 day he realizes hes in love with her and is like "wow". s0 he asks if shell stay, she says "yes" .so basically its a about a guy and a girl who believe in fate. this song is very mysterious and sad in ways, that -i think- no1 can describe/understand. "Must be the clouds in my eyes" i think means that hes jus seeing things and its jus so overwhelming to him.. "The scars that wont heal,your eyes have died, But you see more than I" i think means emotional scars cant heal the way Daniel expresses pain, hes possibly abt 2 die or lost eyesight & i think that how Daniel sees more than him means that Daniel is going thru alot more stuff than he is. Either way its a good song :)) |

My thoughts exactly. Because the lyrics "God, It looks like Daniel, Must be the clouds in my eyes" seems like "Daniel" might have died and Elton is expressing feelings thru song (even tho Daniel might not be entirely real, similar things could have occured in his life) |

This my fave HSM3 song an I also <3 BetOnIt (HSM2) which I think are somewhat related.
The song "SCREAM!" is what I think about is: Troy is sad that Gabriella is moving. Again. 2 go2 the collage she practicly dreamed about going 2 herr whole life... He doesnt knoww whatt 2 do Without Her and he feels like the Whole World's Upside Down.... I may be wrong but hey, its all i gott (4 n0ww)
