Iron & Wine – Each Coming Night Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I agree completely. A true songwriter can make anyone feel anything through their words. You can interpret what you want from this song. You may be wrong, you may be right; you can relate to any part. I hope this song lasts forever. My favorite line is "I loved your son for his sturdy arms" Whether you are a man or a woman, everyone wants someone that can hold them and feel safe and loved and protected. I also lovvvveee how the the last stanza is about him and his love directly; he wants his love to speak to him and to always remember him. Gorgeous song |
The Paper Raincoat – Brooklyn Blurs Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I want to live in Brooklyn so bad. I heard this song in The Last Song (I know, I can't believe I saw it) and I fell in love with it! It's definitely one of the best on the soundtrack |

Greg Laswell – Comes and Goes (In Waves) Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This is the first song I have heard from him. Itunes recommended it for me and I'm so happy they did. This song is amazing and his voice is so passionately hypnotic. Because this song is so amazing, I am going to check out his other stuff PS He dated Mandy Moore?! |
Tracy Chapman – The Promise Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song is simply beautiful. I cry every time I hear it. When I first fell in love with this song, I thought it wsa about lover being separated and fearing separation. But after I saw Remember Me, I listened to this song and I find a whole new meaning. I think teh speaker is singing to someone that is dead. They want the dead loved one to come back for them but they can't. The speaker remembers their wonderful qualities and wants nothing more than to be with them again. I've longed for you A and I have desired To see your face your smile To be with you wherever you are Remembering Your touch Your kiss Your warm embrace I'll find my way back to you Please say you'll be waiting Together again It would feel so good to be In your arms Where all my journeys end If you can make a promise If it's one that you can keep I vow to come for you If you wait for me But that's how I view the song now. No matter the message you get from this song, I hope you can feel the emotion in the lyrics and instruments. |

For some reason I love running to this song. When it plays, I feel better and I want to run farther |
Kalai – Patience Lies Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I think this song is about a person who loves someone else that can't or isn't returning the love. They decide that if they can't have that person, then they will just have to live out his love in his dreams, sice that's where they can only be together. "But I can't go on watching patience lie" means that they can't wait for the person forever but their dreams help their heart heal from the heartbreak. I did a dance to this song and it was incredible. Everything about this song is amazing. |
Gregory and the Hawk – Boats and Birds Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I completely agree. Yes, this song can be interpretted as someone letting go of their love but I think this more applies to a parent letting their child live the world on their own and experience life. I lovvvvvvvvve this song, it is so peaceful and beautiful |
Sam Hart – Mario Kart Love Song Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song is sooo cute! I love how it can be taken basically as mario kart. But there are true feelings and meanings behind the lyrics. So great! Well done Sam! |
Bob Schneider – Love is Everywhere Lyrics | 14 years ago |
wow I can't believe no one has commented this yet. I first heard this song in "All About Steve" and I loved it. To me this song is describing a woman that dances to her own drum, not caring what people think about her. Then a man comes along that is also unique and they fall in love. Because they're both are so out-of-the-ordinary, they haven't fallen in love before by saying "it was all strange and new". I could be wrong but that's what I get out of this song. Regardless, it's amazing! |
