This is one of my favourite Coldplay songs :) It makes me smile. I think its about two people who know they can't be together and confesses his love to her asking her to wait for him. The title it self is so beautiful. <3 It has a bit of a Romeo and Juliet feel to it. |

It took me so long to find out what this song was about, but I still don't even know. But no matter what it has to be one of the greatest songs from the Viva-era. I thought and still do think this story is about love, the feeling of being in love. But I doubt myself sometimes. Even though the name has such a sweet-sounding title. Strawberry Swing could be a feeling, a state of mind, remembering falling in love, but now the love is gone, so you're mind is set in a psychedelic state. Kind of like drugs. You dream, you remember, but its all in your mind, its not real. |

I love this song :) I think in this song he is telling someone that he has went thru alot for their relationship, and all they had to do was one thing, say yes. But since they couldn't say that, he is now alone and haunted by what could've been... |
