when she mentions "I know you'll wear my makeup well" I'm fairly certain she's talking about dressing her boyfriend up as a girl during sex. She calls him a G.I.R.L. which is suppose to stand for guy in romantic love. so maybe she's making quite a few references to getting freaky with gender roles in the bedroom. |

So.. fun fact. An Americano is an espresso drink diluted with hot water. During World War II American soldiers abroad would ask for coffee and get espresso. Though the european coffee was too strong for them. so, many soldiers asked for their espressos to be watered down. The drink was named for the American soldiers preference.
In a very small way, GaGa is saying she doesn't speak your watered-down culture. |

I think the song is about the kind of relationship where one lover is possessive of the other. They maybe buy gifts for them or just spend a lot of money on them. It's like having your love bought. They're a controlling lover who wants to be in charge of the other's life. She's saying that she's a free spirit of sorts and that lover doesn't own her. She's as free as the stars, how could you own a star? it's impossible to hold on to. |

I think this song refers to Jessicka's molestation by her father, part of me thinks that the girl she is referring to is her mother for letting it happen... I do remember reading an interview where she said she was molested by her father but she never gave details. |

i totally agree with this. when i first heard this song, that was exactly what i thought. it is making fun of the people who say they have 'problems' and are so damn depressed. I think he's mocking them because he actually has had loss in his life. these kids are attention seeking bullshitters. |
