This song has always really bothered me. It's about him hating a girl for having social anxiety. The only people he can sympathize with are the men who think her beauty is for them to "stare fixedly" at! If he'd stayed closer to his inspiration, had the strangers staring at a cafe instead of his girlfriend, and hating her response to *that*, this wouldn't be so disturbing and vile. |

This song was about when her cat, Miamo-Tutti, died. To me, the timing of the song reminds me a lot of heavy crying - the pauses within/between the lines sound like the gasps for air between sobs. |
