Great vocals, great instrumentals.. wacky lyrics. Like, it very literally seems like she mixed-and-matched random sentences that came into her head. "The storm will play out there for miles on every side So tell me who's got the dominoes But you'll have to leave your lightning outside" She and her friends can't go out on account of the storm, so they decide to play with dominoes to pass the time. I agree with this. It makes sense because (and I'm assuming the song was written for the movie?) of how Bella's kind of using Jacob to feel better or for thrills so she can see Edward or whatever, and she doesn't care about how he feels about her. If only this song wasn't attached to New Moon in my mind. I almost hesitate to take it seriously because of that movie. xD |

In all honesty though, can you blame people for making such generalizations? You know what's hilarious? This site is called SongMeanings, but I haven't seen one insight into the song's meaning. Not that it's riddled with metaphors or anything, but still. Jeez. I'm really not much of a Blink (or Box Car Racer, for that matter) fan, but this song is awesome. Are you sure about that? Some of the lyrics do sound like James and Maria, but the lyrics: "Mom's gone to Heaven now. Why won't she come back down? Does she have someone she loves more than me?" and: "There's nothing left within my lonely room without you" Sound much more like Walter to me. Who knows, maybe it's about all of them. |

I think that this one's about how Walter waited for his chance to see his 'mother' (the room), but she never came, and Walter is willing to wait forever if it means he can see her. This is an amazing song, definitely my favorite on the SH4 soundtrack. |

Beautiful song, very haunting. And, even though Alessa and Dahlia have nothing to do with SH4, (well.. they do, because otherwise the monsters wouldn't be there.. right?) I think it could be about Alessa/Dahlia AND Walter and his... room. And I think it was placed on the SH4 sountrack (instead of some other game soundtrack in which Alessa had a bigger role) to show how similar Alessa and Walter really were. |

To most people this song interprets as someone in a relationship who feels that they aren't worthy of the person they love, but to me it means something else. I feel like this song is about someone who is pretty much ready to give up on life, because this is pretty much my life right now; "I'm out of reason to believe in me/I'm out of trying to get by" means they're just tired of trying to get by because they feel like their life isn't worth living anyways. "I'm so afraid of the gift you give me I don't belong here and I'm not well I'm so ashamed of the lie I'm living Right on the wrong side of it all" They are pretending to be someone they're not in an attempt to try and make it all come together, or to make everyone else think they're okay, but inside they feel like they don't belong with everyone else. They feel alone and empty, and they have no one to go to for help. |
