I don't think this has anything to do with a relationship. I think it has to do with the church. "The pessimistic you The merciless you And the self-loving you, What are you looking at?" I see this as how selfish and judgmental the church can be. "With comparing and getting things in proportion you scream out mad You wanted this ending to happen You must be a romanticist" There where several meanings of romanticist but I thought this fit best romanticist - someone who indulges in excessive sentimentality I think that this is sarcasm poking fun that the church is meant to be sentamental and loving, but it just brings out the worst in people, they care more about judging and comparing than anything else. They cause people to become bitter and crazy "But I just remembered that there is no love here Over and Over somewhere begins to break" He's just continuing on the idea that the church has no love in it. "Please love me, this blood and the meaning Please love me, this day and this value gasp for breath " He's just asking for what the church promises, Love. He wants the church to love his flaws (blood) and meaning (his purpose) |

Well, this is all MY interpretation, so lord knows it's probably gonna be really off, but lets give it a shot even tho this seems blatantly obvious This song seems to be about someone being in a relationship, (obviously) and that the narrator doesn't care about the person they are with at all because he's lied too much to even be fully invested in the relationship. The narrator is just completely fake to the one he's with. He's not really in the relationship because his significant other doesn't really know who he is. The SO knows he's being fake but doesn't care because the image is so nice. The narrator basically doesn't care about the one he's with (although he used to) but now he's looking for someone else. I agree kinda with what you said about the Please give my heart something, anything like a blade sharp enough to strike you, but I think it's more along the lines of, Yes I want you to hurt me, so I can be angry and forget you, and when se says sharp enough to stike you, i think its like, sharp enough to kill you from my heart, and let me move on kinda idea. Obviously Kyo writes about things from his personal experience! Alot of his songs are competely personal and vonderable, but he does have songs that arent from his perspective. Like as others have mentioned, Kyo did not get raped by his father after his mother died and became pregnant. and he is not a parent singing about his dead kid under the tatami.There are countless other songs where is it not about Kyo, but he exaggerates people's negative parts of their personality to make a point. He is not bi, not crazy addicted to pornography, he is mocking people who are. Hes making rediculous statements in this song to shock people. The message of this song isnt WOW PORN IS GREAT! Its sayign this kids whole life is ruined becuase his adolesence was filled with pornography, and now hes either bi or addicted to masterbating (whatever your interpetation is). I think you fangirls just WANT kyo to be bi, and obsessed with porno so you can imagine him being sexually obsessed, but hes not like that, he is not someone that loves pornography.(I mean, idk, he might watch it occasionally but he doesnt want it to consume your life.) If you get the message of Obscure and Agitated screams of maggots, he wants people to stay innocent, he doesnt like the filth, Like I have said before. he exaggerates to make a point |
