| Aside from my last post, I think this song is also about aliens, in a metaphorical way. The spies being aliens, and us humans viewing them as evil and prying, but those of us who understand, feel good because we know that they are actually watching over us. etc etc. and i say this because i am a big coldplay fan and i've heard just about every coldplay song recorded and some of them have indirect references to extraterrestrials, or ufos. (i.e highspeed, the music video for talk, etc) | |

I have to agree with finimits... I think the song is about either chris martin or just celebrities in general having to deal with the paparazzi every single day, and they have to hide from the real word or they'll "catch us while we sleep" and they are "feeling so good 'cos you know But those spies hide out in every corner". because there is realization that the paparazzi is just a part of the life they chose when they became celebrities and it's just a part of life you must deal with! |
