Teddy Geiger – Gentlemen Lyrics | 15 years ago |
^ Agreed. Just because he writes beautiful poetry and lyrics about people he loves... does that constitute as homosexuality. Somehow, I think not. Beautiful song, like all of Teddy's. |
Tina Turner – Missing You Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Beautiful song... it's about breaking up with someone and missing them, but she's telling herself that she's "not missing him at all" because she knows she needs to move on |
The Spill Canvas – All Hail The Heartbreaker Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Pretty much in love the The Spill Canvas and this song... it was the first song of theirs that I ever heard. But, even though they're musical geniuses; you'd think someone would have pointed out that it's INDECISIVE, not UNdecisive. Baha. |
Powderfinger – These Days Lyrics | 15 years ago |
To me - as I've never seen the movie - the song is talking about depression or a mental illness affecting the writer's life. Good song though. Love Powderfinger :] |
The Ataris – The Boys of Summer (Don Henley cover) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
There is no way this cover can compare with the original. A lot of people have been saying how the Ataris version has more "pep". When Don Henley sings it, it has a lot more emotion and a lot more meaning which is pretty much the purpose of the song because he was saying how he will still love this girl after all of their other summer flings. The Ataris killed it because it's just now a meaningless song with no emotion. |
Coldplay – Viva la Vida Lyrics | 15 years ago |
^ Somehow, I think not. I always think of Caeser when I listen to this song. But, the ones talking about the decline of the Roman Empire are more than likely correct. It's a great song, though. Amazing lyrics |
Fall Out Boy – I Don't Care Lyrics | 15 years ago |
To all the people who think that "this Fall Out Boy is not the same as the FOB they came to love": Reality check, bands are allowed to change. Panic At The Disco did and they didn't really care what anyone thought of them. FOB are the same. Real fans love them, no matter how much they change. And the song is awesome, IMO. |
Atreyu – Falling Down Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Dudes! Calm the fuck down! This is like when Panic at the Disco decided to do something new shiz. Everyone was like, "it's gay," "i fuckin hate it." The usual shit that bands cop when they're trying new stuff. Every band has the right to experiment. And if you don't like the new stuff, then who is making you listen to it? Extract the poles from your arses, people. Thanks. |
Coldplay – The Hardest Part Lyrics | 15 years ago |
yeah, i think everyone can relate to this song in one way or another and we all have our own meanings for it. I really liked this guy for a long time, but I chose another guy over the first one. Then, after breaking up with the second guy, i still had feelings for the first guy and I really wanted to tell him, but i left it too late and he was gone. So, the lyrics "And the hardest part Was letting go, not taking part" really hit home with me. |
A Fine Frenzy – Last of Days Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Gah, stupid people. Not every song is about Jesus. I hate it when people try to relate everything to God and the bible and all that. Gah! It's obviously about a guy who she loved went away and everyone forget about him, but she misses him like hell. I can relate to THAT. |
Relient K – Friends to the End Lyrics | 16 years ago |
limewire's good; I found this song there love it =] |
Closed Heart Surgery – Fuck You Delilah Lyrics | 16 years ago |
haha ^^ i dont think it's about hip hop... it's the complete opposite of Hey There Delilah by the PWT, bout a girl who cheated and is a whore, etc... |
OneRepublic – Dreaming Out Loud Lyrics | 16 years ago |

OneRepublic – Dreaming Out Loud Lyrics | 16 years ago |

The Veronicas – A Teardrop Hitting The Ground Lyrics | 16 years ago |
it's probably about Jess telling Ryan that he broke Lisa's heart and it's time to get out of their lives because of the break-up |
The Goo Goo Dolls – Without You Here Lyrics | 16 years ago |
the lyrics are amazing. "It seems the ones who love us are the ones That we deceive" That line is so true. Beautiful song |
Paramore – My Hero (Foo Fighters cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
ethan4804, bit harsh don't you think? i think the band are great. Yeah, okay, not as good as the Foo Fighters, but with Hayley's vocals are amazing. Although, the Foo Fighters make it sound like a tribute song, as it was meant to be, and Paramore make it sound like a love song... ah well, i love both versions. |
Pink – Just Like A Pill Lyrics | 16 years ago |
okay, P!nk herself said that this song is about drug abuse. Not a guy: 'In "Just Like A Pill" she describes her drug abuse that she had as a teenager.' wikipedia, kids. |
Tammin Sursok – It's A Beautiful Thing Lyrics | 16 years ago |
obviously about love and how it's so beautiful. |
Mika – My Interpretation Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i LOVE LOVE LOVE this song! It's kind of positive thinking about a break-up. Which is great, because there aren't many songs like that. It's not really the good side of a break-up, but he's saying: well, it wasn't my fault that we broke up so I don't know why you're angry with me. This is my side of the story [hence the name "my interpretation"] and I'm sticking to it. it's a really good song and happy in a kind of sad way. xx |
Fall Out Boy – I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me and You) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i think it means his soul. "The best way to make it through with hearts & wrists in tact is to realise two out of three ain't bad." 1. his heart 2. his wrists (both of them) 3. his soul or maybe, it's just both of his wrists and his heart is broken... i dont know |
Fall Out Boy – G.I.N.A.S.F.S. Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I absolutely love this song and I can relate to it easily. it does stand for Gay Is Not A Synonym For Shitty ... pete said in an interview. and it's from Infinity On High, but it's a bonus track, depending on which version of the album you buy cos some have got It's Hard To Say "I Do", When I Don't. I think this song is about a relationship that he misses. Maybe his ex girlfriend had blue eyes, and he's gone for a different girl with brown eyes, but he doesn't feel as strongly for Brown Eyed Girl as he does for the Blue Eyed one. he does things that may seem stupid (walking through the house in her shoes, sleeping in her old shirts) and he's saying that he still loves the girl, but she doesn't love him. it's actually a really sad song, to me anyway. it's like missing a relationship with someone you really loved. |
Fall Out Boy – I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me and You) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i think this song is about a break-up. like, most of you might think that's stupid, but I really do: "Last year’s wishes Are this year’s apologies [he's saying that everything he wanted the year before is now regretted] Every last time I come home I take my last chance To burn a bridge or two [to get rid of everything they once had] I only keep myself this sick in the head cause I know how the words get to you [he's only doing this because she still wants him]" "We’re the new face of failure [they've broken up] Prettier and younger but not any better off [they're young and naiive, but it doesn't mean the break-up doesn't hurt] Bulletproof and loneliness [I really think it's "Bulletproof loneliness", but anyway] at best, at best [It means he refuses to feel bad about the break-up] "Me and you Setting in a honeymoon If I woke up next to you, If I woke up next to you [what would they do if they were still together?] Me and you Setting in a honeymoon If I woke up next to you, If I woke up next to you" "Collect the bad habits That you couldn’t bear to keep [he's talking about the bad side of her, and how she denies being like that, but he sees through her disguise] Out of the woods but I love The tree I used to lay beneath is tea stained red From sour bottled baby girl with eyes the size of baby worlds [I actually think that the 4th and 5th lines are wrong. They should be: A Tree, I Used To Lay Beneath, Kissed Teeth Stained Red From A Sour Bottle Baby Girl, With Eyes The Size Of Baby Worlds.] this is just my interpretation, but i really do think it's about a break-up.. the video clip is the saddest clip i have ever seen =[ but it's really good |
