Three Days Grace – Pain Lyrics
|
The reason I feel so strongly about this whole emo thing of our generation, is because I am not the happiest person in the world, and to be honest, I am terrorfied of people judging me, and making up their minds about me, without out even knowing who the fuck I am ( cliche ) and other pple for that matter. So, apologies for the previous post. I am not emo because I am not happy. PS: And a note to anyone that is going to insult me for going off the topic, I am aware of this, but there is SOME relevance to what I'm talking about. |

I'm fucking sick of the word emo. EMO EMO EMO EMO EMO EMO EMO EMO FUCKING EMO. Shut the fuck up already. Anyone that has feelings that are the antithesis to HAPPINESS, JOY, OR EUPHORIA... You are pigeon-holed EMO. So what do you say to someone that is suffering from depression? "Oh stop looking for attention....Your fucking emo." Seriously words cannot describe how hot my blood gets when I hear narrow minded fuck heads, calling anyone that talks about pain or sufferance EMO. STFU. FFS. Fair enough, people seem to hate emo pple for some reason, but DO NOT lump people that are not like that in the same category, because it is what we call stereotypical judgments. Listen carefully. THIS SONG IS N.O.T EMO JUST BECAUSE IT HAS THE WORD PAIN IN IT. Case closed. |

Freaks me out when he sings " Squash his head, and put him in the pot." Squash his head, man that's twisted. Get a mental-image each time I hear that line. |

Muse – Starlight Lyrics

Reminds me of U2. Alot of Muses stuff sounds like Radiohead, but still I find they have versatility.
This song for example. Sounds nothing like Radiohead, but reminds me of U2 for some reason. =] Good song anyway. |

This piece is excellent, it gives me the creeps, when I first heard the line, "We are trapped in the belly of this horrible machine, and the machine is bleeding to death" - It gave me serious chill bumps =] |

Thom Yorke – And It Rained All Night Lyrics

Thom Yorke = Genius. He's weird, and abstract, thinks outside the box, able to convey emotion in song writing.... I love his voice, it's candy for the ears. I like the whole electronica spin on things, Thom Yorke solo is a great turn in my opinion. Love him. As for the meaning of this song.... idk, I am sure I could conjure up an interpretation, but many have done so prior so I won't bother, but I love it! |
