At the Drive-In – Quarantined Lyrics 15 years ago
Haha! As stupid as that sounds, it really dose seem to fit. Maybe zombies as a term is too cliché. The song does give me images of some post-apoliptic world, and trying to survive in it.

It's a brilliant song.

Alexisonfire – Pulmonary Archery Lyrics 16 years ago
thbkk seems to be the only one thats close. 1977 is the year of a blizzard in Canada, this must have something to do with it, as we can see Alexisonfire's intrest with it, in (the total rubish) Crisis crap. [[I'm sorry if people don't agree, but I think AOF were such a fantastic band with such strong emotions and meanings. All that Crisis is strong in is the stench of big record bosses, and there pay checks (wether this is true or not, this is the vibe I get).]] I really don't know what the majority of the song means, but, in a way it sounds like a comparison or metaphor between a relationship and a blizzard. Kinda like the metaphor that is It Was Fear Of Myself That Made Me Odd.

Also, alexis_on_fire. "Pulmonary Academy" is a miss-spelling on some stupid music video channel. If you look at the back of the album, I think you will find it's called "Pulmonary Archery".

As for the video, I think it is fantastic video. I know it's them just playing in a house, and the miming isn't all that great. But. There's something about this video. It has passion, and the lighting, camera shots, and composition are fantastic. Much better than the crappy video for "This Could be Anywhere in the World" (yes, another jab at Crisis, altough that is the only remotely good song off the album...) with the old, seen it a thousand times before, water splashing off cymbols. And they we it looks and sounds like you've already seen it, bought the t-shirt, and forgern about it.

The Letters Organize – Matador Lyrics 16 years ago
=]

I was hoping more people would have posted on this, or any of there songs... I was intrested to see what people thought their music was about, because I quite like their lyrics, but understand only a handful of them.

I kinda see what you mean about betrayal, but I think theres more than that too, like the last line; "Change this order before everything's becoming too easy" for me, it sounds like hes getting at the routine of normal life and how you get yourself into doing the same things over and over agian; "Involving everyone in routine yawns" and how it holds you down; "and balls and chains" and maybe even sends you mad; "For days I go blank".
Just an idea anyway...

Sum 41 – Hyper-Insomnia-Para-Condroid Lyrics 17 years ago
Well, lets have a look at the title, we have:

Hyper- (as a prefix) meaning extream or excessive
Insomnia- A sleeping disorder that is known for its symptoms of unrest and the inability to sleep
Para- (as a prefix) Its most common meaning is "similar to" or "near to."
Condroid- Any ideas?

It's sposed to be about being extreamly paranoid, which makes alot of sense if you listen to the lyrics, but so does the drug trip idea. Personaly, i can't chose between them.

It's good shit man.

This was the first song I heard by The Letters Organize. My (awesome) girl friend sent me it, and now I have the album.

Why hasn't anyone commented on them before? Morons...

It's f**king awesome.
Just like all of them.

As for the meaning of the song, I have no idea... which is stupid considering that is the point of the site.. ah well..
