This song is talking about death and how when we all die, we will lose everything we own and how does that feel for you? Therefore i think that we need to think about death and where we might end up when we do die- heaven or hell? And try not to focus on all the meaningless things in life, like what we possess and own! Life isn't about that at all... everything is going to die eventually whether we like it or not! |

Pure bliss... This song is gorgeous! gets the water works happening at times when i think about how much I love someone that I just can't have! It's a long story but I can't give him what he needs and its too hard for us to be together... it sucks! This song however, is one of my favourites and i agree with Charon, quite lovely really! |

This song “Love and Peace or Else” by Bono from U2, i think is simply about love and peace and how to achieve it- by putting down your guns and all that will cause conflict in the world. But not only is it about that, this song has many definitions. It’s also about forgiveness and how the world is going to become even more chaotic than what it is already if we don’t respond to love and if we don’t truly want peace in our lives. To gain peace we need to learn how to forgive others who have done us wrong. We often go on through our lives, living restless and uneasy about certain things and that’s mainly because of the world we live in and the people we live with who we haven’t got strong, loving relationships with. The truth is, we all need something, someone greater than ourselves to pull us through this uneasy life and I think that Bono is trying to get across to people that we all need to give up our selfish, hard hearted selves and rely on God more! |
