Asher Roth – I Love College Lyrics | 15 years ago |
i absolutely cannot stand rappers who throw in random names just to get a rhyme out of their shitty lyrics. kanye has done it, and even then, it bugs me to no end. what the fuck do "allen iverson" and "hakeem olajuwon" have to do with beer pong? did they play beer pong together? ohhhh, i get it...olajuwon played basketball and his name rhymes with pong. -_- so. creative. go give him your hard-earned hours at costco/bestbuy/kmart/whatevermalljobyouhave. what the hell?? rappers who jump around like that in their lyrics are just stupid. get a fucking dictionary/thesaurus and write something less pathetic. it really isn't that hard... |
Basshunter – Boten Anna (English Cover) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
"i realize my love for you *was* strong" |
Kanye West – Good Morning (Intro) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
wtf does rosie perez have to do with getting bad grades. it's like he's just using it because it rhymes. maybe i'm missing something, but i wiki'd her and found nothing that even related to this song. |
Kanye West – Paranoid Lyrics | 15 years ago |

The Classic Crime – God and Drugs Lyrics | 15 years ago |
lifesamist is right. it's not our job to convince people that they need something they don't want. they have to come to that realization themselves or through people relating to them much like through this song. matt is saying here, "hey...i was there before. this is what helped me." and when people find someone that's been where they are, believe me, they'll want to hear more. maybe they pick up the album and hear more of their songs. there are more effective ways to bring people to the one person that can save them than just flat out saying, "you dont want to burn forever right? then find jesus." that line of thinking only pushes people away. spread love, not fear. |
House of Heroes – In The Valley Of The Dying Son Lyrics | 15 years ago |
omg. i didn't realize it until i downloaded the full song (instead of listening to the 30 second clip on itunes), but this song is so f'ing epic. wow...i'll be puttin this on repeat for the next week. man...it's the greatest feeling when you come across a song like this. last one that did this for me was poker face by lady gaga (still on repeat, btw). epic epic EPIC! download NOW! |
Tyga – Coconut Juice (feat. Travis McCoy) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
HARDLY! this kid is another examplte of a dying genre of music. this lacks everything except repetition. it's the same frickin thing evey 10 seconds. we get it, "put the lime in the coconut." ok. quiet now. and have you heard his other songs?? good lord, he has absolutely no shame. he seriously says, "...gettin every dollah. yeah, i'm on tv. turn it on and watch me." i'm sorry, but when in the world did that constitute a song??? that's nothing but a showboat runnin his mouth. no lyrical capacity or talent. just money. again, a dying genre of music. shining example right here. |
Jonas Brothers – S.O.S. Lyrics | 16 years ago |
and to tambourine_man, lmao...i love that last comment. they can write a song in the time it takes me to pour a bowl of cereal!!11!!!111!111lololololol ...sigh...talent at it's prime... |
Jonas Brothers – S.O.S. Lyrics | 16 years ago |
good lord is this song overrated. in all honesty, it's completely bland. they repeat the chorus four times because they can't come up with more lyrics for their verses (which are rather paltry in size and completely uncreative). i'm sorry, but the jonas brothers are another cookie-cutter band just like the rest of them. only thing that sets them apart is that they're young and "cute" and learned how to manage instruments. and to the people saying "why don't you do better...?" i can. and i have. so shove it. |
Charlotte Sometimes – AEIOU Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i'm not entirely sure what she means by this song. it could be that she's tired of the posers that say whatever they can to get her. or it could be that she's tired of whiny guys who're smitten with her and fantasize about her. i have no clue...opinions needed. |
Charlotte Sometimes – How I Could Kill A Man Lyrics | 16 years ago |
this song is about her really really bad breakup. i read an interview about it all. just go to her wikipedia page and you can find the reference at the bottom. |
Bleu – Something's Gotta Give Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i love this guy, his lyrics, his melodies, the catchiness he creates...it's all the best package that only "redhead" could deliver. best lines ever: "Saw your friends at the bar just the other day Talking 'bout your new boyfriend I just stood there smilin' but I couldn't help thinkin' All the ways that I'm better than him" |
Daphne Loves Derby – Iron in the Backseat Lyrics | 17 years ago |
my instant favorite of the album. it brightens up my day. "Call us out on our mistakes. Call them all just fun and games." = awesome. |
Daphne Loves Derby – Love & Mercy Lyrics | 17 years ago |
wow. just...wow. no comments? this song has amazing rhythm. the lyrics are kind of foggy though. he sounds depressed. maybe he gets lost in "fantasy land" too much and neglects his friends. |
Daphne Loves Derby – Cue The Sun Lyrics | 17 years ago |
i concur, repeat and repeat again. seriously, why doesn't this song have more comments? it's too beautiful. |
The Almost – Dirty and Left Out Lyrics | 17 years ago |
i think blondy has it pretty much explained. this song is incredibly convicting (kinda reminds me of Showbread). probably my favorite one on the album. |
