I agree with this but I think it could be a bit broader than just living in a fairy tale. Having just gotten out of a relationship which wasn't what I thought it was, i personally relate this to that, but I think it could go with any fantasy or desire or idea of perfection that anyone had really, that got proven wrong ? |

I think its about a relationship that keeps getting back together. -"Here we go again" They keep thinking they've fallen in love again -"And once again we get attached And think we've found the answer" But it doesn't work out. i feel like its about thinking you're not good enough for someone, from the last part. like at the start, he wants her so bad and everything, and then he's reflecting that she's too good for him, or something. i dunno, this is probably so far off, more comments ! |

I love this song so much more since I really started thinking about its meaning. As I do with all of the Paramore songs. They really are a fantastic band. The popularity is almost a shame. I hope they dont get too corporate. I doubt it though. (: |

Yeah Onnieburgers I heard something about it being a phone number too, although that ones another good explanation. I got told that she was like looking in his phone n there was this number with 19 2020 in it and so she was 'lookin for a 19 20 20' meh. luvin da song its awsm. hav you seen the clip? shes so energetic! lol |

i always just interpreted this song as someone dying (he) and miss murder being the killer or force or whatever that killed him. The stars that pierced the sky He left them all behind We're left to wonder why He left us all behind (wondering why the guy who died left them all behind) Hey, Miss Murder can I Hey, Miss Murder can I Make beauty stay if I Take my life? (asking whether he can make beauty -the guy im guessing- stay if he takes his own life) whatever its probably way deeper than that but thats what i get out of it anyways... |
