10 TON BRICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This song is so fucking amazingly!!!! I've listened to it 39 times today!!! I think that this song is about finally letting go and stop blaming yourself for mistakes you have made in the past. Or to just stop taking all the blame after a relationship gone bad and realizing that you didn't do everything wrong.

This song is metophorically amazing! I think this song is about breaking up with someone or even just falling out of a friendship and realizing that he or she was never good for you in the first place and that you shouldn't let them get you down. The lake in my opinion just means that someone was only a small part of your life and the real thing which is represented by the ocean. Goddamn it i dont even know why i'm getting in to this song because the singer sounds extremely wasted but it's annoyingly entertaining lol. |

The title of this song should speak for itself. It is about people who obsess over beauty and possessions rather than love and kindness. The underline message is that shallow people tend to step way outside the reality box and one day finally realize that all the glamour there attracted to, isn't as common as they thought. |

This is one of the most amazing songs I have ever heard in my life. The original track that is on the album is wounderful but the "Raw" and Acoustic versions of this song are simply incredible. I have been playing the violin since I was 2 years old and I have never really found an awsome modern rock band that has violin music in it. But then when I heard this guy play his amazing 2 minute solo when i saw them in concert, i couldn't belive it. The lyrics are also very interesting because everyone knows what the underline meaning of the song is but for example the lyrics in th chorus "Theres a tiny dancer in my bed and she never has to much to say" really takes hard and progressive listening to interperate. The lyrics in this song are amazing, but i must admit that the first line "I messed up again when i Tried" is the saddest of them all. There are no whining emo voices bitching about corrupted love or "mean people", it is just simply put out there that the singer is actually hurting. When i listen to this song I think that the singer is truely sad and does not have enough energy or happiness left to scream and bitch just to get attention, he dosn't want attention.

I preffer this version of Hurt way more than the Nine Inch Nails Version. No offense to Trent Reznor, but Johnny Cash brought so much more emotion into the song, especially during the chorus. His voice is so powerful when it gets heavier "And You could have it all." I think this song is basiclly about all the mistakes one can make in life, and looking back at the past and regreting them. This song brings an extra punch of chills, and emotions when the lyrics in the second chorus go "If I could start again, a million miles away, I would keep myself, I would Find a way". The true meaning of this song fits Johnny Cash so well when you think about the kinds of mistakes he made like drugs, you can think about his mistakes and your's as well when you listen to this song. |

This is by far the heaviest Hatebreed song there is to me.
The punishing riffs on the guitar and the grinding fucking vocals and bass just make me want to jump up and beat the shit out of everyone in a mosh pit. This song is about standing up for yourself and making your life right again. You could interprit this in many ways such as for example the line "Whipe your spit from my face" could mean that you have been beaten down somehow in society and that you are ready to fight the fuck back.....AND WIN. This is the most un EMO song ever. I think about all those little crying bitches cutting themselves thinking taking a razor to their rest will solve all their problems when i listen to this song. This song is one of my favorites by the deftones. This song I like to relate to my experiences in summer school during High School. I knew it was good to get the credits but i could not help the feeling that I was wasteing my summer away. and then when you are finally out, all of your friends have already gone somewhere or don't have time for you. So its not specificly about school, just life in general i guess. |
