tough act to follow, but uhh..yeah. I love this song, the writing is great, it's very emotional, and I get really pumped up during certain parts of it. And this is our last time We'll be friends again I'll get over you, you'll wonder who I am favorite part of the song. I think it's about a relationship that ended, the girl prob dumped the guy, and the guy is trying to recover and move on. The different stages of the song are different stages of his healing. But I think he is still depressed by the end of the song, but having this experience has given him the chance to feel alive, and feel emotions he never thought possible. |

This song is about a guy who is stuck in a relationship he knows isn't going to work, but he can't leave the girl. He compares the relationship to a slide. It's the same thing over and over again, you climb the ladder then slide down. And even though it hurts him more and more each time, he still runs back in line to do it again because he doesn't want to lose the girl (but if i move my place in line i'll lose.). The anticipation has him glued because he always hopes things will get better, but they don't.
