The Simpsons – Everybody Hates Ned Flanders Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Try this; Everybody in the USA Hates their stupid neighbor. He's Flanders and he's really, really, lame! Flanders tried to wreck my song, His views on birth control are wrong. I hate his guts and Flanders is his name. F-L-A-N-R-D-S, he's the man that I hate best. I'd like to see his house go up in flame! F-L-A His name is Ned! E-R-S That's a stupid name! He's worse than Frankenstein or Dr. No! You can't upset him even slightly, He just smiles and nods politely, Then goes home and worships nightly. His Leftorium is an emporium of woe! F-L-A Don't yell at Ned! D-E-R His wife is dead. Everybody hates that stupid jerk. Springfield rocks with Homer's joyous loathing! Filling clubs, with angry banditos. You don't have to move your feet, Just hate Flanders to the disco beat. He's your perky, peppy, nightmare neighbourino! If you like despise polite left-handers then I doubt you'll like Ned Flanders, Or his creepy little offspring Rod and Tod. F-L-A His name is Ned! E-R-S He is so white bread. The smiling mustache geek who walks with God! |
Garth Brooks – In Lonesome Dove Lyrics | 16 years ago |
So is the song implying that the woman was shooting from the alley, or is it saying that the ghost of his father was shooting? |
New Found Glory – The Promise (When In Rome cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Everywhere I go it says that Chris Cabrerra is in this song... but he's no where to be seen. Huh? |
The Format – Time Bomb Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Oh no! Was it worth it? Starting now I'm starting over, I'm gonna sleep with the next person I meet Starting now I'm starting over, You swore together forever now you're telling lies Well tell me your worst, they got no, they got no concept of time. Tick tock, you're not a clock. You're a time bomb baby, a time bomb baby oh Tick tock, you're not a clock. You're a time bomb baby, a time oh oh oh Oh no! Was it worth it? Was it worth what you did to big business? Was it worth? Was it worth? What your friends, put up their noses. So starting now I'm starting over (stop it) Well tell the new wave kids their make-up kits can find me where Self pity gets a breath of fresh air. Tick tock, you're not a clock. You're a time bomb baby, a time bomb baby oh Tick tock, you're not a clock. You're a time bomb baby, a time oh oh oh You set the watch, you're just time To wreck my life, to bring back what I'd left behind Tick tock, you're not a clock. You're a time bomb baby, a time bomb baby A time bomb baby, a time oh oh oh Five years and you fell for a waiter I'm sure he says, well he's an actor You're acting like (you never tried, to take your life) So starting now, I'm starting over I'm throwing bottles, I'm, I'm taking showers I'm going to sleep, I'm going to sleep So starting now I'm starting over (stop it) So starting now I'm starting over (stop it) To play the game, get even, act my age. Tick tock, you're not a clock. You're a time bomb baby, a time bomb baby oh Tick tock, you're not a clock. You're a time bomb baby, a time oh oh oh You set the watch, you're just in time To wreck my life, to bring back what I'd left behind Tick tock, you're not a clock. You're a time bomb baby, a time bomb baby A time bomb baby, a time oh oh oh Oh no! Was it worth... Was it worth what you did to your wrists? |

I first heard this song on NHL 2K7... I quite like it. |
The Legion of Doom – Hands Down Gandhi Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Probably my most favorite of all the Legion Of Doom mashups, because I really like the way that Slow Down Gandhi comes off with the new beats\Hands Down riffs. |
Sum 41 – A.N.I.C. Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Now she's a dead cunt. |
Sum 41 – A.N.I.C. Lyrics | 17 years ago |
And now she's dead! |
Roper – 1985 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Pop lock is a style of breakdance. DMC stands for Run DMC, popular rap trio. Pushing 80 while the Libyans attack refers to a scene in Back To The Future. |
Fall Out Boy – Thriller Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I agree with Ash's, with little changes: *The whole press one makes no sense, I agree more with the "me and my plus one" line. *I think it's more "Make us poster boys for your scene" and not in. *Nod and a wave of my HAND, I think... the nod is implied to be the head and then the wave is the hand which is stated.. because waving of the head is... rather odd. |
The Blood Brothers – Laser Life Lyrics | 17 years ago |
It REALLY doesn't sound like "I think my night unplugged it's life" I know the book might say that but I know books mess up sometimes... I had my money on something like "And if your mind, unplugs it's life." |
Cauterize – Closer Lyrics | 17 years ago |
What started out as desire, turned into a lover's trist Who knew a moth and a flame could ever spawn a love like this Now you need something to taste Something just a little bit more sweet But I am sour and more sour Every time that our lips meet [Bridge:] If you're a butterfly I'm suicide by insecticide If I am kerosene then you're a spark just begging to ignite You'll wish you never met me (Butterfly) Butterfly, fly by me [Chorus:] Never meant to cut so deep (Just enough to bleed) Feel the sting as you get closer (Closer and closer to me) Don't let hold something so delicate (Shattered with a word) Don't say anything as we get closer and closer Damn, this is gonna hurt The ghost of a pathetic past is haunting me here more and more The skeletons are laughing and I mean through the closet door And my past lovers share these covers Sleeping with my enemies Thoughts of others come between us Trigger fits of jealousy [Bridge] [Chorus] You can paint me pretty colors And dress me how you like I'm just a ugly moth in love In a butterfly disguise And I've been thinking about leaving since the day that we met Since I don't get close when it's all over I'll just forget 'Cause I have seen the end so many times I've played it in my mind And I am scared to death I never want to see your dark side If you're a butterfly I'm suicide by insecticide If I am kerosene then you're a spark just begging to ignite You'll wish you never met me (Butterfly) Butterfly, fly by me Never meant to cut so deep (Just enough to bleed) Feel the sting as you get closer (Closer and closer to me) Don't let hold something so delicate (Shattered with a word) Don't say anything as we get closer and closer Damn, this is gonna hurt Never meant to cut so deep (Just enough to bleed) Don't say anything as we get closer and closer Damn, this is gonna hurt |
The Format – She Doesn't Get It Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Fuck people it's obvious, he feels older because he's dating a girl that's younger, and the realtionship isn't working because of it. |
Minus the Bear – The Game Needed Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I love the song, it's so easy to groove to the lyrics. |
Minus the Bear – Get Me Naked 2: Electric Boogaloo Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Yeah it really does say "That's true of all us." because it doesn't even make sense with not in there. |
Rammstein – Amerika Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Quiffporn is a total fucking idiot. Needed to be known. |
Joaquin Phoenix & Reese Witherspoon – "Cocaine Blues" Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This is an awesome cover of the Cash song. |

Matthew Good Band – Last Of The Ghetto Astronauts Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Gets dark around here early Sometimes the moon, it'll follow you in the middle of the day Waiting to be found, we were just standin' around There's nothin' really much to say I didn't know any better You didn't think that we should So we're gonna burn down the night I wanna be misunderstood All four wheels across the pavement We used to live in black and white I only think about tomorrow So it'll get me through tonight. And I aint laughing And I aint joking anymore I keep my footsteps near the ground I keep my eyes glued to the floor And somewhere in between Only in a Stalin's dream on this side of midnight And maybe we're just crazy Maybe we're better off dead Maybe things'll never change Maybe you got it backwards in your head The last of the ghetto astronauts won't be ignored Said I'm gonna go where, no one has gone before Said I'm gonna go where, no one has gone before Gets dark around here early Sometimes there is more to the moon than just one man can see The voice without a name cries "Silence!" just the same, just the same way If I didn't know any better I'd say that maybe we all should When the mornin' comes around Don't wanna be misunderstood We'll be sleepin' on the pavement thinkin' everythin's alright Waitin' for tomorrow to get us through tonight And I aint laughing And I aint joking anymore I keep my footsteps near the ground I keep my eyes glued to the floor And somewhere in between Only in a Stalin's dream on this side of midnight Been walkin' here with the giants Sleepin' in a town without a name Been holdin' on to your arms and legs (Your arms and legs) Cause nobody here wants to put you back together again (Together again, together again, together again) Maybe we're just crazy Maybe we're better off dead Maybe things'll never change Maybe you got it backwards in your head The last of the ghetto astronauts won't be ignored Said I'm gonna go where no one has gone before Said I'm gonna go where no one has gone before No one No one |
Senses Fail – Tie Her Down Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Buddy has to be one of the worst lyricists ever. Like my friend said tonight, there's retarded kindergarten students who could write better lyrics. They try so hard to be morbid and shocking but it just comes across as an incredibly juvenile and fake. Also, Buddy's voice isn't anything astounding on CD, but during live performances he has the most ridiculously off-key and flat vocals ever. Saves the Day blew them off the stage on this fall's co-headlining tour. --------------------------------- You and your friends are SO cutting edge. |
Say Anything – Admit It!!! Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It describes the fucking kids who think they're hippies around here. |
Say Anything – Every Man Has His Molly Lyrics | 18 years ago |
The first section up there is awesome, that's why I love Say Anything. |
Billy Talent – Devil in a Midnight Mass Lyrics | 18 years ago |
To the one bitching, there's a demo version and an album version, dipshit. |
Blue Rodeo – Rain Down On Me Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This is my favorite Blue Rodeo song and it has importance for me and my family. Although I am a male, I left home at seventeen as well and it... was quite the time. All in all, a great song I think. |
Blue Rodeo – Somebody Waits Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I don't think it has to be about a relationship really, everyone jumps to that conclusion. To me, it's about being sick of your life. I definatly feel like this song, I just hope that day that I wake up and realize that I have had enough comes soon. |
Matthew Good Band – Whispering In The Dark Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Those lyrics are written out so badly. |
Fall Out Boy – Snitches and Talkers Get Stitches and Walkers Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Awesome track by the way... I know what it's like to be jaded and want to save someone else from it. |
Fall Out Boy – Start Today (Gorilla Biscuits cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Then you haven't heard many covers. |
Fall Out Boy – A Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More "Touch Me" Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I confess, I messed up Dropping "I'm sorry" like you're still around And I know you dressed up "Hey kid you'll never live this down" Cause you're just the girl all the boys want to dance with And I'm just the boy who's had too many chances I'm sleeping on your folk's porch again, dreaming She said, she said, she said, "Why don't you just drop dead?" I don't blame you for being you But you can't blame me for hating it So say, "What are you waiting for? Kiss her, kiss her" I set my clocks early 'cause I know I'm always late Write me off, give up on me 'Cause darling what did you expect? I'm just off a lost cause A long shot, don't even take this bet You can make all the moves, you can aim all the spotlights Get all the sighs and the moans just right I'm sleeping on your folk's porch again, dreaming She said, she said, she said, "Why don't you just drop dead?" I don't blame you for being you But you can't blame me for hating it So say, "what are you waiting for? Kiss her, kiss her" I set my clocks early 'cause I know I'm always late (Always on, Always on) You said you'd keep me honest (Always on, Always on) But I won't call you on it (Always on, Always on) I don't blame you for being you But you can't blame me for hating it So say, "what are you waiting for? Kiss her, kiss her" I set my clocks early 'cause I know I'm always late I set my clocks early 'cause I know I'm always late |

Andrew W.K. – We Want Fun Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I have to admit it. Andrew WK has always been and probably always will be my guilty pleasure. I wonder if he's changed his clothes yet. |
Matthew Good Band – Generation X-Wing Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It's a song about a person that knows they are a loser, but they don't care. Pretty much how I accept myself. |
Motion City Soundtrack – Make Out Kids Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I thought it was grey cell green? Which is a band. |
Spitalfield – I Loved the Way She Said "L.A." Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This song is so damn catchy both in the music and the lyrics. I love it. |
(+44) – No It Isn't Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I'll go with the Mark singing about Travis thing, it makes sense what with Tom saying that A&A will change the world, the song's title is No It Isn't. The "thousand faces we'll choose to ignore" are blink-182 fans and the rest of the song fits in as well, what with "This isn't goodbye, this is I can't stand you" and such. |
Blink-182 – Another Girl, Another Planet (The Only Ones cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It's a very good cover, one of those that I think is better than the original. Kind of sad it's probably the last recorded song by them... but oh well. |
My Chemical Romance – To The End Lyrics | 18 years ago |
For anyone who was talking about the possiblity behind this song being based on Chuck's word, check out "It's Time To Dance" by Panic! At The Disco which is pretty much a full tribute to Invisible Monsters. |
Panic! at the Disco – I Write Sins Not Tragedies Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I like to think I know what I am talking about with this song, considering that in a short note in AP about their upcoming album, Panic! noted that they liked to write songs that were straightforward. |
Panic! at the Disco – I Write Sins Not Tragedies Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Why does it have to be a metaphor for anything? The story is simple. The character telling the story is the groom, he's pacing nervously and overhears the conversation. He chimes in with the line and then rethinks his reaction and treats it with poise and rationality. He blows the comment off as nothing but jealousy and that's it. Get on with the wedding, pour the champagne. |
