the lines "Don't feed me sorrow" and "make no more wishes": -just remind me of things say to you when youre sad. people say "im sorry" "i wish i could do something..." etc. also "You think, you thought, I know" - again people giving him advice "i think.. " and he says "i know" - hes sick of hearing it. wants to stop them before they start. and finally "find yourself another soul to hold" - he thinks the people who are trying to help him are really just doing it because it makes themselves feel better that they are helping. hes saying find someone else to help |

ok i know i just posted but i forgot something. im kind of confused about the part where it says And angels with their gray handshakes Were always done in such a hurry i kind of get a negative vibe there with the "gray" handshakes and "done in a hurry" like hes thinking that the angels arent really sincere or caring but then later it says An angel kissin' on a sinner and that seems to me to be the opposite of what it said before i dunno im really bad at interpreting lyrics so i think i just might not be getting something. can anyone help me out? |
