Procol Harum – A Whiter Shade of Pale Lyrics | 8 years ago |
I've always interpreted this song as about some sort of romantic breakup, or maybe a failed hookup at a bar. "We skipped the light fandango, turned cartwheels 'cross the floor I was feeling kinda seasick, but the crowd called out for more The room was humming harder, as the ceiling flew away When we called out for another drink, the waiter brought a tray" Basically, a man is having tons of fun with a girl, dancing, drinking, surrounded by friends, at a bar. "She said, 'There is no reason, and the truth is plain to see.' But I wandered through my playing cards, and would not let her be" The truth that the relationship is over is obvious. He tries to find some way to stay with her, and doesn't want to let her go. "One of sixteen vestal virgins, who were leaving for the coast And although my eyes were open, they might have just as well've been closed" She's leaving for good, but he doesn't want to accept it. "And so it was that later, as the miller told his tale That her face, at first just ghostly, turned a whiter shade of pale" She's breaking up with him in a public place, as a miller tells his tale, and she's suffering through it. |
Yes – Siberian Khatru Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I think the last verse are made of opposites, like the idea of a Siberian Summer itself. June cast = Summer, Moon fast = Winter, the "called out" are opposite of the Saviours who lead the ones who are called out, "As one" are the stable while "Changes" are the transitory, the "moon gate" barriers and the climbers who overcome them, people with a Heart of gold stays and ones who don't are leavers, the people who "turn round" and react against at their problems and the gliders who go with the flow. And perhaps Bluetail and Tailfly = Birds and the Bees, man and woman, which is also a big theme in the song... |
Dream Theater – 6:00 Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I remember someone from the band saying how it was about meeting fans and stuff who said "Oh yeah I was thinking of starting a band myself, back in the day" but it never working out. Maybe the band never said that and I'm just imagining it, but to me this song is about achieving your dreams (in this sense, dreams to make music) before you get tied down by work (wood to chop), family (promises to keep), and general apathy and excuses made out of your own insecurity. All the references to music and melody and sound are pretty apaprent, to me. Like when he gets to work at 9, he can't seem to get the music out of his head. So don't get "in too deep", so when you finally do find the sound, you can't do anything about it. Answer the call while you still hear it all in your head, because nobody will do it for you. |
Queen – Long Away Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I think it's about a man who feels lost and alone, and feels as though he's taken the 'wrong path' in life But then after the first solo part, he opens his eyes and realizes that he isn't alone ('his many stars above him', his friends and family etc...) and he puts his troubles away and lets his inner child play So off he goes to live the life he's always wanted to life, Long away from his old dreary one. new beginnings! Lovely song by Brian, one of my favorite Queen songs. Gotta love all the astronomy references too. |
Queen – My Fairy King Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Well, Rhye was the mythical world he and his sister invented when they were children, so I think it definitely meant something to him, as well as it all reflecting his childhood and innocence as a whole. Regardless, the idea of the multiple perspectives and narratives between these songs are just great. PursuitofLife and Lennonmercury's writeups were fantastic, great stuff. LM's #1 of Lily being the final sendoff to the world of Rhye (as well as Freddie's mythical lyrics) is definitely the most sad one, so the second one looks a bit tempting, ha. |
Queen – Nevermore Lyrics | 14 years ago |
"You sent me to the path of nevermore, when you say you didn't love me anymore" this line and delivery just kills me, this song is so good. |
Dream Theater – Metropolis, Pt. 1: "The Miracle and the Sleeper" Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I always just personally took it to mean growing up in general, the loss of innocence, and also finding someone important to you. I know there's that thing about the Romulus and Remus influence, but I don't know enough about that. And Metropolis Part 2 doesn't really have much to do with it. The "I was told..." parts make a lot of sense, especially since the first two are so optimistic (There's a miracle for each day that you try, there's a new love for each one that has died), and the next two are so negative (There'd be no one to call on when you feel alone and afraid, when you dream of the next world you'll find yourself swimming in a lake of fire). The death of innocence from optimistic childhood to cynical adulthood - everything dies eventually, it's the first dance, a constant in life. As a child, the Everyman thought his life would be wonderful and without pain and sorrow, but as he grew up and became a man, it all caught up with him, he lost his innocence and shut himself out from the world. He essentially "fell asleep" and entered autopilot, thus making him the Sleeper. But of course, it didn't help stop his crippling fear of the world ("Yet I'm so afraid"). He hides his precious memories and personal thoughts worth a thousand words away, from both the eluding stares of everyone around him, and eventually himself as well. They're never heard of again, and he loses a bit of himself each day. He lives this fake life wearing a mask, because deceit is the second dance that everyone takes part in. But if you, the Sleeper, have someone else in your life, a Miracle - which the first verse introduced, someone who also lost their innocence because of sorrow and pain that she was also told she'll never outgrow - and you keep their heart in your eyes, then you'll stay alive and survive in this modern human city/society of Metropolis. And it'll give you a smile for doing so, because it's the thing that confined you to each other's minds in the first place. So before you give up on life and lock the doors, realize that there's still the third dance in life, and that is love! hooray and so forth |
Queen – Lily Of The Valley Lyrics | 14 years ago |
The "Rhye" world is the mythical world him and his sister created when they were kids, so it was obviosuly very important to him. This was sort of a final send-off. |
Dream Theater – Surrounded Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I agree with Dave on this one, except for the ending - if anything it's a happy ending. He knows it's easier to run away, but he's been doing that for so long, he's sick and tired of it, "he's given it all he could take." He's willing to let her into his life, the "habits left to break" are the ones where he got so used to being alone. The return to the slower pace of the music can mean that he's done trying to fight it and is accepting it now. So now as he listened to her call from the ivory tower, he's now "Surrounded in all the light". |
The Beatles – A Day in the Life Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Media and humans in general creating a desentisized, cold society, filled with such lonely hearts (aw yeah). I love how he says "Laugh" in such a broken way, like he's about to break down and cry himself, but hey now, stop that, you're not supposed to do that, just stand and stare. But when good news happens like the war ends, you're supposed to ignore that - it's just the way the world works! But then he suggests that we "I'd love to turn you on..." Let's TURN ON, let's really start living. Right then, a nightmare sets in - aaaalmost done, but nope, not yet, alarm clock, wake up, time for work! Paul's verse...I thought it to be a separate character, just living out his own life as well (because it's A day in the Life of anyone in particular). Normal guy, has a happy go-lucky morning, and all of a sudden BAM gets sent into a dream state, literally out of nowhere. Personally I always thought it's because he heard the news of the suicide, and goes into reflection, or it could just be the little everyday things that can just completely change a persons outlook on the world. Then it shifts right back into John's melancholy parts, the "holes filling Albert Hall" I just take as empty, lonely people who fill up city streets. And then, the crescendo sets in again...and this time, manages to reach it's apex, before finally making an end to it all. Is that nightmarish orchestra section what "reality" is, if they choose to ignore the fantasies we create and "turn on"? Is that final chord enlightenment after realizing the dream-like beauty of the world, or is it someone "blowing their mind out" out of depression after not being able to handle how insane the world is? Either way, both set the person free, so they both have that major tonality, but drastically change the message of the song... Well, I guess I can go on until I pick it apart so it's even more barely recognizable, doesn't change the fact it's a very interesting, emotional, and moving song. In short, enough of this Paul is Dead shit. |
The Beatles – Getting Better Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Yeah I think the song is in the view of someone in denial, trying a bit too hard to convince himself. |
The Strokes – 15 Minutes Lyrics | 16 years ago |
endless stroke pretty much nailed it. I love the final line, "And of course, twelve major chords”. Because after you get all all the tabloid, celebrity crap out of the way, it's all about the music. |
The Strokes – Reptilia Lyrics | 16 years ago |
To me, it seems to be about a breakup. Early lyrics replace a few lines, like "the room is on fire as she fixes her hair" is changed from "And as he walks out, his girlfriend arriives" ("just calm down, you found me") I think the story is about a man who gives in to temptation(reptilia) and starts flirting with another girl(first verse), and ends up alone with her in a private room, and the 'room's on fire'(sexual) as she's prepping up. The guy thinks his actual GF is slowing him down and they have a fight(chorus) Of course it's all insane speculation, much like most any Strokes songs, it's too cryptic to make much sense of it |
The Strokes – In Her Prime Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I'm not wrong, i already explained this was from the Arlene Grocery performance, The Demo version is pobably, yes, much different. |
The Strokes – Unknown 1 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
These are my lyrics to it: I was living in a yellow room And the goldfish eyes and clear the room And in your life I hope that it's the knife That cuts life angels, and their wings drop And can I be next to you? And I'll be right in the next room Tell, can I be brave? Shit, I dunno Cause I gotta mess up these words But that's okay, because, because The only thing is around Cause it's good to be, good to be And I move over And I let go Giving down to He's something, oh! He said "I'll be around but, it's dangerous!" He said, "It's all I ate on this day or two" Ohhhh... Babababababa, Babababababa, Babababababa... I was stuck inside your prison heart And your emplish tongues and slice it off He cleared my room and then he ran away On top of this, ------------------------ And can I go next to you? And I'll beat her up some more And I'm not going that way! He said, "Whoooahoooahhhh!" Oh my god, what the fuck was that? I can't believe that just happened Yes, I just, it's alright where it is Cause he's always there on ------- It'll all be over It's on your way The time is over It's dangerous He said, "Better he than me to five time us" He said "And I'll be the one!" Ohhhhh, ba ba, Babababababa, Babababababa, Babababababa, Babababababa... |
The Strokes – Unknown 3 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
These are my lyrics to it: "And you're my favourite son" he said And I'm not there, in your life Cause I'll be free but it's a lot to pay Going to the ---- he passed And on the end It's my way, because I know it's our time again It's on film, oh... Birth at the lodge, the stars in the skies On the end It's my way, living life And it's a sudden stop, yeah... I free down five, the next on the track On the end Get him down, it's like a social event It's all about to blast! Nothing's on today... "You get mail for 20 days" he said I know... Sliding in the room He's got 25 dollars for you If you could give him a hand I'm tired of lies, inside you now I'm on the end In my life, living life And it's a sudden stop, yeah Breathing the dragon off The end It's my way, a summer day And now I'll give me my home And I'll promise you home I won't sit down And let me teach them, all the people around Who say... No sound in the room I get a little used to you But I only meant, I meant, her! |
The Strokes – Unknown 2 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
These are my lyrics to it: And in the dust but bones below He's going to change and I don't know I'm trying the same every day But I'll be a little insane, you know I'm going to try, try, to get inside Oh my baby don't even have a file Don't look around cause I'm not here Or at least I don't live in there And friends at ease, and I walk out It's in another Christmas trees It's going to be nice, feel that breeze I'm going in on stars to me To people acting, down on the floor! You don't let up, don't wanna let go And I'm living in this city And try to with stay back cause I can not, Excited to live, Yes... Giving it all what I got Riding on the line And I'll pick up a lisp off your fight The fuckin hair must die "And I'm going into brother's room And I believe in America's dream" she says He's on his way, he's on his way Oh you forgot that be, I was holding it down But it's so dead here, back of my mind Ever since the day that you came along I've been writing this song |
The Strokes – Obstinate Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Yes. it's been confirmed that a (newer) version of the song will appear on his October solo album, under the name "In Transit". |
The Strokes – Obstinate Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Definitely. Ol' Albert's one of a kind... |
The Strokes – Clear Skies Lyrics | 18 years ago |
nvm, scrath that. It's the complete opposite. All the things he says in the verse are the things he ADMIRES about her, and the chorus seems to be like "You could be spending all your time doing other things and without me, but you aren't." |
The Strokes – Elephant Song Lyrics | 18 years ago |
They are very correct I'm farily certain of, but this is the one that they played live at Brownies, back in January of 2000. The one they rerecorded for the Fan Club later on goes like this: +++ I was just sitting there Time in hand I will be the one And it's so easy darling, Please take off and I'll be safe He's all alone outside And if you try too hard then you got to let go I had it all worked out And in the end I'll still be alone In your eyes And it is no big surprise Safe in my eye sight, open up the EEEeee... I wanted all of this And in the end I'll still be alone Atop your hills your face Pass me down a look in your eye And in this beaconing You'll be changing just for me Your screaming says that I'm The one in looking out yours... +++ I don't know what the harmonizations say, though. I think I hear "Each day, Oohhhh...", but maybe "Each day's over...". I'm not sure, and I may be completely wrong. |
The Strokes – Sagganuts Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Vittorio, that's the version that they played at brownie's. You see, the two early recordings in existence is Brownies (January 2000) and Arlenes Grocery (April 2000). The lyrics for the Brownies version are this (I tried to get as much, and as accurate, as I can): +++ SAGGANUTS (Brownie's) In back of the room In the back -------- He could kill them all But he's just out the back Run like a jungle Should he swift like a fire And get inside while the others go by Run Run Run!! As fast as you can run when you can't hide Said that we could call each other, A-OK Run Run Run!! Don't you even know that I am yours? I don't know Why I'd go It's alright I'm going on my way, yeah... I'm tired of being alone, yeah... And it's on all night, yeah... And after, and after, That's what I said Give him what he came for Let him on the roof He's got five on his ---- and offside But hell he's always doomed He said Run Run Run! As fast as you can run when you can't hide And live long, as it's A-OK Run Run Run! Don't you even know that I am yours? Oh please... And I try, try And I'm going on my way, yeah And tired of being alone, yeah And I can't go on, yeah And after, and after Hm, she goes... |
The Strokes – Juicebox Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It's not exactly the same, in the second four notes of the Juicebox riff it doesn't play any note twice, each note is descending, whereas the bus theme has the highest note playing twice. Although it is similar. |
The Strokes – Fear of Sleep Lyrics | 18 years ago |
(b:D)b At Eelsrule, some of the songs on the album really do that to you...you hatign them, then ending up loving them afterwards, I mean. As for teh song, the first verse just seems to be him paranoid from sleep depravation. I don't know what the second verse might mean, but it might just be him being easily ticked off ("everyone was loud"). Or, the other person is impressed with some positive quality of somebody, and the main character comments that if you were less of an asshole you wouldn't be so surprised. I dunno. The "You're no fun" part, shen I first read that those lyrics were in the song, instantly made me think that the main character is angry at the people who are asleep, and who are not afraid of it, and since he's awake all night he's bored out of his mind. So he writes them off as boring sicne they go to sleep, with a "You're no fun". Maybe, I dunno...maybe it has something more to do with that second verse too. |
The Strokes – A Minor 4-4 Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Defintiely agree, but the Brownie's version does have that kickass solo. |
The Strokes – Juicebox Lyrics | 18 years ago |
"this is my new "drive fast" song." XD What a coincidence, the Juicebox single art is this: http://www.rollingstone.com/reviews/album/_/id/7669808/thestrokes?pageid=rs.Artistcage&pageregion=triple1&rnd=1128024754859&has-player=true&version=6.0.8.1024 |
The Strokes – Reptilia Lyrics | 18 years ago |
^ Basically, yeah. |
Daft Punk – Emotion Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Yeah. It just...can't say Emotion. First off, there's 3 distinct syllables or words with the vocals, each being held for a small while, with the last one being considerably so. For it to say "Emotion", or Eee-Moe-Shun, the first section of the vocals has to sound remotely like a long E. It doesn't. The second section has to sound a little like "Moe". It doesn't. And lastly, the last part has to sound a bit like "Shun", held for a long time. It doesn't. |
The Strokes – Automatic Stop Lyrics | 18 years ago |
No, never mind. It's just a love triangle. Now, to set it up, there's 2 guys in a relationship with 1 girl, but it can't go any farther obviously if both of them are in it, so 1 guy has to go one way or the other. The main character is split between 2 views. He is being pressured out of the relationship by external sources; he is being told that "It's just a phase", "Don't rush it (ie. train)". The other guy is also threatening him (ie. "He wanted me"). This also tells that the other guy will not back down. And another reason is that he is seeing that the girl is very stressed by this dilemma. Now, wanting the best for her, he willingly gives into these external sources, he says Wat! and while he talks to her he thinks to himself "Alright, I'm going to let this whole thing go and relieve her of her stress" (ie. "I'm gonna give it a break"), he actually tells the girl that "I'm not your friend, I never was" in a pretty ugly breakup. He told her such a thing because he didn't want her to have to have any feelings for him lingering on while she will be with the other guy. And, he probably was so unwillingly angry because he because he was ashamed with his sympathetic nature, as he had to let her go for her own good. Very bittersweet...or just an incorrect interpretation, but hey. |
Daft Punk – Emotion Lyrics | 18 years ago |
*sigh* It says "Where are you?", NOT "Emotion". There's no possible way it could be saying Emotion. |
The Strokes – Reptilia Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I've managed to dig up the early concert recording of this song, and a tiny part of the lryics are different, so it might reveal mroe of the song... >>> Instead of "Just take this now leave me" it was "You sound so sleepy, Just fuck off and leave me". The last two lines of the chorus is "You're no longer needed, I'm not coming over". The whole break with "Now everytime that I look at myself" was then "Somehow they says as she looks at her man "You don't understand me So stand by and let me". "The Room is on fire as she's fixing her hair!" was then "Now they walk out and his girlfriend arrives!". |
The Strokes – A Minor 4-4 Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Oops, sorry, that was for Sagganuts. Here's A Minor 4-4... And it's on my way And I'll be brave Living ----- in another day But I try to be the man I was And you and I ain't got any of the things that I have, Uh uh... So far away The favourite son He walks around without a gun The way back home ----------- Don't need to try and spoil - he won't survive Move on... As a child I overheard And I'm not going that way He said "I'm not going that way"...oh shit As his hands ---- I'm away ---- and ask for a friend You see that I'm not going to him And my hands like you But I'm not there ------------- is what I am I made another people that let me free And it's all that I want That's right! And we'll leave your hand and it's not true A shaking man and it's God with you He said "I'm the one who's gonna set him free I'm the one who's gonna pull through for me That's right!" As his child I overheard And I'm not going that way And I'm not going that way In your mind I will be Alone and afraid like I used to be... Put your hands and I'll be way And I'm not going that way And I'm not going that way And I'll always stay up on your Whoa-oh, whoa-oh, whoa-oh... |
The Strokes – A Minor 4-4 Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Also, the lyrics to the time they played it at Brownie's, a few months earlier: In back of the room In the back -------- He could kill them all But he's just out the back Run like a jungle Should he swift like a fire And get inside while the others go by Run Run Run!! And I try, try And I'm going on my way, yeah And tired of being alone, yeah And I can't go on, yeah And after, and after... |
The Strokes – A Minor 4-4 Lyrics | 19 years ago |
For clarification, there are some multiple version of their unreleased songs, with some different lyrics. A Minor 4-4 has the Brownie's concert recording, and the Arlene Grocery recording, and they're both wildly different. Sagganuts has both Brownie's and Arlene grocery's recordings too, and they have slightly different lyrics. In Her Prime and The Rhythm Song are on their 2000 Demo, a brownie recording, and an Arlene Grocery recording for each, but they're all generally the same from each other. |
The Strokes – Elephant Song Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Written by Albert. Publicly performed at Brownie's show in 2000. |
The Strokes – A Minor 4-4 Lyrics | 19 years ago |
-One of the songs from the April 29th 2000 show, the Arlene Grocery gig. Was abandoned shortly thereafter. |
The Strokes – In Her Prime Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Oh no, it's quite old. It's from the infamous Arlene Grocery gig, back in April 29th, 2000. It's one of their older songs that they never released. |
The Strokes – Clear Skies Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This song does indeed exist, go ahead and ask on the Strokes message board on their website. Anyways, Fab wrote the song for the credits of a Drew Barrymore documentary. it's an awesome song. basically, it's about a guy who's so full of himself that he thinks this stupid girl (whom the girl is really just very peaceful) should be fulfilled to simply be with him ("You're with all you've ever wanted") when it's really not the case. |
The Strokes – Modern Girls and Old Fashion Men (with Regina Spektor) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The song is basically about two people made for each other, but they're so radically different (represented by Old Fashioned and Modern) that they feel that they should break up. Long story short, they do break up, they "fall" into despair from being away from each other, they meet again and tell off each other, but...then after they hear themselves fighting so senselessly, they ask "Was...I?" (ie. Was I acting like that too?) and they forgive each other. What a happy ending! |
The Strokes – Automatic Stop Lyrics | 19 years ago |
They're going to be releasing a new album in the summer (June 20th). And I think I can safely say that I think this song is about a guy who just jumps from relationship from relationship, hurting everyone in his path, and never really caring about others. He also has no remorse or guilt, (The chorus is the breakup where the girl realizes his nature) and feels that it's the other person's fault for trusting in him in the first place. ("I never was", last line), which is interesting as it shows that the man has such a low self esteem of himself in the first place, possibly developed from a bad breakup (so it's just a vicious cycle). The "he wanted me" was the boyfriend of another girl he had an affair with, and he was out for vengeance. Nothing about homosexuality. |
The Strokes – I Can't Win Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Oh, I think I just got it. This guy keeps on failing at everything - jobs, relationships, and is given the "good try, but it's not enough" line. So, he meets some girl at a bar who's ready to jump right on top of him (have sex, "Happy that you said you'd mount me") and so he's found success in this relationship. Now, he's just "leaving for a while" (I'll be right back), while on the sidewalk (he left the bar). Whatever he's doing, it has to do with all his past failures, because he keeps on remembering them, but the last thought in his mind is the girl waiting for him. |
The Strokes – Automatic Stop Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Oh, and in an interview, Julian said that the song was supposed to be about his family, but then he said that he doesn't really go down and think about what the song means until about a year after he even writes them. |
The Strokes – I Can't Win Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I agree with what other's said (except the record deal ones...The Strokes don't sing about things like that) and also that this is a awesome song. Best frickin solo ever. |
The Strokes – The End Has No End Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I don't think this song is about the government at all. It's not a political song. Basically it's about a relationship with him completely fed up with the "dumb" girl who blames others for everything. He wants it easy, but the girl is asking too much of him, and they're making absolutely no progress (2 minus 3). "Won't you take a walk outside" is him trying to calm her down, because he wants it easy and relaxed. "Won't you find another guy?" is teh verbal translation of his bad additude towards her because he just can't stand her. "1 9 6 9/3" is the only thing making me assume that this is a political song, but it could mean anything. It could mean that someone was trying to phone call somebody but they were caught (affair). And that the relationship is basically done for, but is still there much to the discontent of the male of the story. Thus, "The end has no end". And that's my take on it. |
The Strokes – Sagganuts Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Whoops, sorry, that was worded wrong. But, with the inclusion of "She protects her son standing right there" might also mean that she was having an affair with her husband, and the main character slept with her so now the husband is very angry with him and is going to try and hunt him down. |
The Strokes – Clampdown Lyrics | 19 years ago |
yes, this is quite pointless... |
The Strokes – Automatic Stop Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Hec, that line could even mean that some guy was hunting him down to attack him for doing something, who knows. |
The Strokes – Automatic Stop Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I don't think the entire song is about gays, bkat. |
The Strokes – Sagganuts Lyrics | 19 years ago |
And those do not sound like the correct lyrics, at all. These are the most accurate lyrics to date: >>> In at the top of the tower It was about a quarter hour I want it back and I'm just over here Nuts on my left side Reacted to the owner The only thing that I'd seen with my eyes She said Run Run Run!! As fast as you can run while you can walk They give you all so much because you're right on time Run Run Run!! But don't you know that I'm up? I'm going on my way, yeah I'm tired of all the ends All the ends, ends, ends, And she protects us all in the end And I said And after, But I go out to work! Oh yeah! I'm bringin down on Tuesday On Wednesday, a paper, man! I gave it up To what I said Leave me in peace He said Run Run Run!! As fast as you can run while you can walk She gives you all so much because you're out of time Run Run Run!! But I said that was yours! I'm tired of the ends All the ends, ends, ends And bringing back to my thumb When I said I was right But she protects her son standing right there On the edge And after But I go out to work... >>> The song is basically about the main character sleeping with a girl ("the owner"), and then getting in major **** with the parents or other people because of this, so she says to "Run run run! As fast as you can run while you can walK!" meaning that you better run now before they try and kill you or whatever. But, with the inclusion of "She protects her son standing right there" might also mean that she was having an affair with her wife, and the main character slept with her so now the husband is very angry with him and is going to try and hunt him down. |

It's not a cover of anything. it's an unreleased song they sang in a place called Arlene Grocery years ago. They enver produced. But it's damn good, and I wish they did. |
