This song is completely incredible. The music is fab but the lyrics are just amazing. They obviously mean so much, and they paint such a vivid picture. There is a lot in the song that is easy to relate to. The way things are different in the summer, and it ends and things go back to how they were. If u see the video to the song, it all becomes clear. its the most poetic, beautiful song and video. it deserves utmost respect, whether or not it is a cover or not. Remorse is the difference beween the two versions. Cash is looking back at what his life as a dying man with regret. The NIN version is more pitiful. top work to both sets of artists. how any one can call this version "shit" however, i simply cannot understand. |
