Two Gallants – Waves of Grain Lyrics

I think these lines are most certainly about Bush, referring to him talking about speaking with god and making his decisions based on god's word:
And you hide the dead while my friends head to die in your name.
“This playground is yours,” spoke god when you met behind closed doors, “Gesture your hands and the pawns shall subside.”
And though you play alone, you never get lonely, you never get bored.
Who needs a friend when God's on your side? |

Wow warp, freak out some more. Kurt Cobain quoted Neil Young in his suicide note, and nobody lashed out a Neil. Sure suicide is stupid and selfish, but if someone wants to do it, they are gonna do it however they please.
BTW I love this song! |

Primus – Too Many Puppies Lyrics

Definately an anti-war song. Jackyl is right, this song was written well before the gulf war. Leading up to the current war against Iraq, Les Claypool posted on the Primus website forums that all fans should call radio stations and request "Too Many Puppies", sort of his own mini anti-war protest. |
