yes I agree with you acantu05 to a point. I have a feeling that there were meanings behind what they wrote until they actually got the words out of their mouth. THey were probably quite intoxicated in the midst of writing these lyrics. My opinion. I love them to death despite all of this. |

I am torn between the drugs or that it is metophorical for a feeling that he or she may want to have, but maybe it is seen that he or she is not meant to feel this way, so it is frowned upon. I think either way it seems asthough it is like the devil talking to the character; trying to prompt them to feel like they need the drug,or that it is ok to feel a certain way. Notice how the music gets dark when the "devil character" begins to speak. That is what I make of it.:) May not make sence. I had a hard time explaining it outside of my head. so sorry:) |

I am going with the prediction that this "man" has mental instabilities(maybe paranoia or OCD or DD or BD)who knows. Anyways: the chorus with the inhale that makes the exhale so much better- to me it means that if you do not inhale AKA if you arent happy, it makes it too hard to exhale or in other words: live. Just a thought. Brilliant lyrics. |

Yah see I don't usually like POM, but this song really hit me. I have made up my own interpritation of this song, which so far is sounding much different than the rest of yours. I dont see it ( for me) as a boyfriend girlfriend situation. I see it more as a friend who he is trying to protect, but loses him/her. Maybe a part of it is also with parents or a friend ...being"fake", and that this world isnt making sense with all these fake beings; thefor blurred.Yah thats what it means to me. Doesnt mean that's what he meant, but it's what I think. |
