At this time Matt had just found out he was bi-polar and was taking medication that wasn't suitable for the disorder. All in all he ended up in the hospital where this album was written, I believe the woman in the song is his mother. I remember reading his blog and he had written about his experience with finding out about his bi-polar disorder/his hospital stay and he mentioned his mother spent a lot of time with him. |

This is an absolutely amazing song. The lyrics are beautiful, the music is great especially Travis on the drums. Everyone can relate to this song in a different way whether it reminds you of death, your relationship w/ your boy/girlfriend or something else completely. This song reminds me of my friends, the ones I have now, guy friends that there has always been something more underneath the friendship and friends that I have lost. Blink 182 did an awesome job on this song and the whole cd. |
