I love this song! I used it for a project in an Art/Music/Video course in college, and everyone loved it! It has awesome lyrical imagery AND spiritual meaning. Awesome song!
BUT... the last very and the bridge-type of thing at the end... I've never heard them... I have the CDs and they're not on there.
ALSO, the last line in the 2nd verse is "It could happen while you're scatting like a scatting fool". Not rapping... scat is a term used mostly in jazz/swing music (which this song sort of imitates) to refer to the singing of nonsense syllables instead of actual lyrics. There ya have it! :) |
