A few nights ago I saw them live and my god they were amazing. Dallas played an acoustic guitar to this song and sung it alone. It was bliss. The whole venue erupted in song and it was so great. Seeing them live has given me a whole new appreciation for them. |

sometimes, i feel like his songs are so beautiful because he himself is so beautiful. maybe i wouldn't have such an attachment for the melodies and such a longing for the pretty words if he weren't as i see him. i think it would be dissapointing if such amazing things came from a person who wasn't wonderful inside and out. |

I agree with indierockchick. Possibly my favorite song on Fevers and Mirrors. I love the way he drops and raises his voice at such parts and this song, among others, a beautiful feeling of well, sadness. This song makes me cry everytime I hear it. |

This song, I think, is about eating disorders and relying on someon else to solve the problems that the disorder has caused. "Hunger hurts, but starving works", "come on put a little love here in my void" (void could represent the emptiness the eating disorder is making her look/feel) "hands are too shaky too hold". From personal experience, I know, that when you haven't eaten for what seems like an eternity your body shakes, namely your hands. |

"Jason Mraz" is a complete moron and has totally destroyed this song and not only does he lack meaning and emotion with every FAKE note he sings but, he lacks the sheer brilliance Oberst does whose, as most will agree, voice makes him so unique. |

This is the only believable love song ever written. Wether your appreciate Bright Eyes or not, you've got to respect Conor's words and how he makes his music almost like magic, I just don't understand how anyone can bash this song. Ah, he's brilliant. |
