I always thought this song is about being (more like perceiving yourself) unattractive. I'm a relatively short man, and it was a disqualifying feature for some of the girls I was interested in. Hence my body is holding me from being with someone I love. And the lines "my mind holds the key" represented the personality. So if I'm able to talk the person who I see as out of my league, maybe I could charm them so that they can appreciate me despite some appearance issues that I have (or think I have).

This one has Saxon portraying the life of rock musicians constantly on tour, traveling from city to city, playing concerts, and immersing themselves in the energy of live performances. It captures the exhilaration and dedication of being on stage, connecting with audiences across different regions and uniting them through the power of music. The song also reflects their passion for their craft and their forever-burning commitment to entertaining and inspiring fans wherever they go.

This song is another one about Saxon's love of the thrill and excitement associated with the speed and adrenaline of the road. Getting caught up in the rush of the moment, feeling the power and intensity of the experience as one push their machines to the limit.

one thing the Boss does in perfection is writing about these less-spoken aspects of everyday life [though he's not alone in doing that]. I have felt this type of embarrassments of the indignities in everyday life of middle-class; mostly embarrassed for my family, not because of them but the way the world make us look. he writes on how he wishes to escape from these little but sad feelings in life.

This song exists as a jab of critics of both Saxon and other bands, detailing what they aren't and who they are. They aren't devil worshipers, demanding your souls, or in it for fame and money, they just wanna rock. The guys reject conformity, censorship, hypocrisy, and control, emphasizing their sole purpose of rocking out and having fun. They challenge authority, stereotypes, and restrictions while asserting their independence and passion for their craft.

Now while this is a general, standard love song about the girl a guy loves, I found something that might give some deeper meaning. Since Saxon are British, a bit of public perception is that northern girls generally seem to act a bit more like average guys, in terms of being more carefree than their southern counterparts. There are exceptions, but most northern girls tend to be more forthcoming with banter, are harder drinkers, and maintain more relaxed attitudes to casual sex. Some stating that northern women are more calm, and bitchy in the "Ice Queen" way. So that's what...

The track here expresses the feelings of betrayal and disappointment in a relationship where one person gave their love to someone, but only received empty promises in return. They realized that despite giving multiple chances and ignored the signs, the other person took their love for granted. Leaving them feeling lonely and deceived, they decide to leave the toxic relationship knowing that trying to make it work would be futile. Ultimately, it's all about leaving a loveless relationship, where your partner is only with you for what you have, never giving affection back.

The song is about a breakup. “Apartment” is about their “apart-ment”.

This one is a fairly standard track about the feelings of longing and anticipating for someone special. The protagonist in the song has to leave on long trips, mad at highway traffic jams, and yearns to be home with the one they love. It's a good portrayal of one's intense longing for a reunion and their eagerness for the night to come, and the work is done; They can come home now from a long day's work to their special one.

The song talks about girls who may seem innocent on the surface but are actually rebellious and daring behind closed doors. They like the feelings of defiance and have a desire to break free from expectations, with the girl in the track challenging the looks others have of her being an angel. It captures the rebel inside anyone who feels oppressed by having to be the perfect version everyone wants or expects.
