The group consists of Chino Moreno (vocals) from Deftones and three members previously from ISIS (who disbanded in 2010), Jeff Caxide (bass), Aaron Harris (drummer) and Bryant Meyer (guitar).

The band has a largely atmospheric sound (post rock) but it is very different to any of the music the two respective groups have released previously.
