A Dutch R&B and hip-hop artist with hits outside his homeland, Mr. Probz got his first big break in 2006 thanks to a role in the film Bolletjes Blues. Born Dennis Princewell Stehr, Probz came to hip-hop via the graffiti culture. The combination of the two interests landed him a role in the hip-hop movie Bolletjes Blues in 2006, then a steady stream of indie singles and collaborative tracks took him to 2010. That year he won the BNN/State Award for Best New Artist, a rare feat for an unsigned artist. Epic soon signed him and released his debut album, The Treatment, in 2013. The album featured the worldwide hit "Waves," a track that hit in 2013, and again in 2014 thanks to a Robin Schulz remix.
