HURTS is an English synthpop pop duo consisting of singer Theo Hutchcraft and synthist Adam Anderson.The band formed in 2009 in Manchester, England. The pair were originally in a band entitled, "Daggers" (from 2005-08) but realized the sound they wanted worked better as a duo. So in 2009, the duo released a music video called, "Wonderful Life." And this was the start of HURTS. The duo have released two albums since 2009 entitled, Happiness and Exile.
